This is a vehicle review of the SAAB 900 Turbo in the rain. Most reviews are about the wiper. The SAAB 900 is trying to expand the wiping area with a different approach from the Mercedes-Benz W124.
After the review, drive on the highway to the Daikoku parking area.
I think things have changed a lot in the last 10 years.
Are the glorious days of car culture a thing of the past? Is it outdated?
With that in mind, I held the key to a car in an era when car culture was at its peak.
Maybe I'm just living to trace that era.

A car lover especially SAAB, based in Japan.
Born in 1991. Have an experience of oversea study in Lund, Sweden for 1 year.
Now I'm working in Investigation firm of the car industry in Tokyo.
In this channel, I will show and share the experiences through movies and binaural sound of SAAB 900 turbo. SAAB brand has been disappeared, however, I can show what it is like to own a SAAB, as long as I maintain well and drive it. That is a one of the missions for me to upload on KZbin.

Really nice, I have the 4 door sedan version of this car, Turbo as well, same color on the exterior, but red & black interior. I fitted some Bosch fog lights from the 1980s I found at a flea market and put yellow film over them because I really liked how yours looked with the yellow lights. So now they are even more alike ;)

SAAB、会社はスウェーデンですが、900はフィンランドで生産していました。航空機メーカーなのでデザイン的にも何処かスバルと共通していますね。エンジンは縦置きなのにFFというところも変わっていて面白い車です。

コメントありがとうございます。ありがとうございます。自分が偉そうに言うことができないジャンルですが、感じたままの感想など今度作成してみようかなと思います^^ 簡単にネタバレしておきますと、メルセデスW124はとにかくフラットです。どんな段差を高速度で抜けてもフラットで安定しています。サーブ900は設計が古いのでハンデがありますが、リアが段差で持っていかれる感じです。

Seriously cool car especially in Japan, makes you a cool cool guy, Had two myself here in Scotland in the 80’s- 90’s but fuel costs got the better of me, haven’t abandoned Swedish cool though, now drive a modern Volvo. Was in Japan in May last year didn’t see anything on the roads cooler than a couple of VW Golfs but some very nice Subaru’s ( had one of those too, excellent all wheel drive system )

Mine does 7l/100 km at the moment which isn't too bad even for a modern car I feel, I've serviced the engine and I rebuilt all the brakes and that really made a difference, they where all sticking before and creating excessive friction. And I'm working on reaching 6l/100km (Trionic conversion, larger aftermarket 8.8 primary so it'll do 2700rpm at 120kph)

大黒パーキングですね懐かしいです。他の車の中でさすがサーブですね。大変似合っています。今回の外気でコンプレッサをまわしていても、エアコンはつけなくても曇りませんでした。北欧ならではの考えみたいです。最新の国産車ですぐ曇る車種もあるようなので、考え方の違いをあらためて思い知りました。

Backup plans: a) Winning the lottery b) quitting job, being the full-time homemaker (=male housewife) and getting repaid with one some day by my better earning wife 😂

SAAB９００の場合フロントガラスの局面がかなり大きいので内側からみて右側のワイパーなどは 局面の頂点の真ん中当たりで止めておかないとその先かなり強く押し付けてみても浮いて拭き残しが多いだろう。 それだとあまり合理的だとはいえず。だったらもう１本の可動範囲を大きくし拭き取り面積を可能な限り多く取ろうと 結果的に落ち着いたのかな。よく見ると右と左のワイパーの長さが少し違うようにも見えるがどうなのか。

コメントありがとうございます！ 確かに曲面ガラスの浮きというのもありそうですね。思いつかなかったので、とても面白いです。 カメラのレンズの関係で違う長さに見えてしまうかもしれませんが、ワイパーは左右同じ長さです＾＾

右側に長さ 45 cm のワイパーを取り付けることもできますが、下側の長さが 25 cm、上側の長さが 20 cm を超えない非対称ワイパーでなければなりません。そうしないと、上部にぶつかってしまいます。しかし結局、面積はほとんど増えません。
