Canard Jets are the most beautiful machines- from the Mirage III to this to the Typhoon. While the F-15, Mig 25/29, and the Suhhoi are all in the same beautiful configuration, I think there is something about these canard birds that just looks like a jet should look.

Die Saab 37 Viggen mochte ich früher als sie noch im Einsatz bei der Schwedischen Luftwaffe war auch gerne auf Airshows sehen. Sie ist nicht wie die Saab 35 Draken nicht mit einem Bremsschirm ausgestattet sondern mit einer Schubumkehr, Was auch interessant ist wenn sie während ihrer Vorführung zwischendurch mal landete und das tut diese Viggen hier im Video auch, Dann geht sie wieder in die Luft und der Rest der Vorführung wird durchgezogen. Ein Richtiger Donnervogel den jeder Airshowbesucher unbedingt mal Live sehen muss 👍

@@knightflightvideo Wer heutzutage damit anfängt Airshows zu besuchen der sollte sich mal meine Geschichten anhören was für eine Große Typenvielfalt wir in den 80er 90er Jahren hatten, Da lohnte es sich auch neben der Fliegerei auch eine Spannende Bodenausstellung abzulaufen. Das waren die Goldenen Zeiten aber es gibt ja noch die Restaurierten Donnervögel wie hier die Viggen oder der F-104 Starfighter den die Norweger Restauriert haben oder auch die Draken.

@@patrickthape4650 Tja, die goldenen Airshow Zeiten sind leider vorbei. Da muss man heutzutage schon sehr viele Airshows (auch weltweit) besuchen, um noch eine relativ große Anzahl verschiedener Flugzeugtypen zu sehen. Und dennoch werde es jedes Jahr immer weniger. :/

Because every time the where flying in over the Soviet Union they took the route over northern Sweden and Finland, and the U.S never asked for permission, that's why the tone.

Correct, you must have good ears! Built on license by volvo. The last version of viggen engines got a third turbine and that increast power from 115 knw up to 125 knw.

Lol... We Used them in the 1967(1970) Stopped production in the 1990 and a bit in 2005 we did not used them more. Sweden made 330 of them in different version. This in a Country with around 8 million people. Mach 2.5 or more. at high altitude. a VERY VERY good plane back then.
