24 Units maybe not enough but already a good number to add on the capability of the Philippine Air Force to guard and secure Philippines Territorial Airspace, already a good number to intercept any enemy aircraft that would illegally enter our territorial airspace.

It was one island called Itu Abu, today it is Taiping Island , it has fresh water to drink, in April 1941 Japanese Imperial Army began to occupy, began to build a submarine dock and an airfield plus radio becon. It was Japan's secret weapon that destroyed whole USAFFE in Southern Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao, that Macarthur didn't know. Japanese bombers from Formosa would attack bases in Lipa, Batangas, but return Itu Abu to refuel and reload with bombs. The weakness of artificial islands they have desalination plants that can be targeted. The Bramos missile system proposed by Dwag30 administration has such short range a complete waste of money " sabotage" those artificial islands that are about 460-km away from Palawan.

It is time to make a decision as we speak. It takes time to manufacture the Jets, train new pilots and other staff, build infrastructure, and so on. Gripen will be a great system, either C/D or the E/F version. They can also operate in an integrated way.

It's likely #14-JAS-39C/D because why would you still get #2 AEW aircrafts w/c is it's tandem connection , plus #10-12 is JAS-39E/F. I understand the new meteor-C and AIM -120D missiles can intercept Imee's hyper fear missiles.😉😱. In Ukraine we saw a hyper-speed mach 1.2 cruise missile being chased by a meteor missile. Polish Mig-29 are fitted with new radar system .

DND PAF should now order asap 14 Jas 39 E/F gripen for delivery 2026 -6 units-6 -8 units 2027 . China may attack by 2027 & we need to be prepared. DND should order now or Be replace.
