SAAB Short Shifter install! ng900 & og9-3

Just want to say thank you bro. No one really goes on depth with a the short shifter install on these and this gives me the confidence needed to do it on my 96 900 so thank you.

No problem! Hardest part was the adjusting the reverse lockout having to move the little metal peice on shifter. I relaize I don’t think I showed how but it’s onto of shifter when it’s installed

Why put that reverse crap back in ? One of the first things I did with both mine was trash that stuff.

Why did you order the whole extra piece and not just the short shifter ?

Think my friend actually had it and sold it to me. I mean pre installed ready to be installed in the car lil bit less work. Idk if you can buy part separate or not or price difference

Hey dude trying to do the same thing but how do you pull the selector rod out? Are you supposed to just yank it really hard?

The rod that goes to transmission had a nut or bolt holding it on I belive onto trans

So, I guess this is an old video you just uploaded. Since it's February, you are sitting on a concrete floor in cargo shorts. I don't even know what torque steer is you mentioned below since I've never had a front drive car. I assume you don't care KZbin will demonetize you for letting that music play? That actually looked like a pretty simple job which will make a big difference in the cars driveability. Take care Danny.

Yes it’s actually a few years old… torque steer is fwd car when the car pulls hard to one side or another when giving it the gas hard. And as it was a long time ago I didn’t think to try and pause music…. Same to you, Thank you
