So I gather that Automous Core enables one station to directly control to one vessel. Can a single operator coordinate the activities of a squad of autonomous vessels at once, or is this more like a remote KVM setup?

This must have been a nightmare to code and this system can work on any vessel provided that the necessary power and Computing infrastructure is already present ?
