Thank God! It’s taken 20 years for this garbage of identity politics to start going away. When I was in college in 1999, sociology professors at UCLA were pushing for identity politics and bringing back affirmative action (California voted for a proposition to get rid of affirmative action in the 90s). I vehemently opposed it then and said it was a class issue and not a race one. They kept pushing the focus on race instead of unifying under a class struggle. Goes to show you who’s actually racist.
