Did you know, "Parishudhan Mahonnatha Devan" (Aa Haa Haa Haleluyah) was originally written in Nepali?! No other song written and composed in Nepali has been translated to as many languages and has been sung as many times as 'Sara Shristi'. It speaks about God being the Lord of all creation and mankind's ardent response of praise and glory to God as he beholds the wonder of creation. • The song was originally composed and written by Kiran Kumar Pradhan in 1982 as a theme song for "Jesus Calls Crusade: by Bro. Dinakaran in Darjeeling. The song later got translated into several Indian regional languages including Hindi, Marathi, Malayalam, tamil and Telugu among many others as well as several international languages. The chorus of the song is a string of "hallelujahs", and when sung in this particular melody and format has also been called the "Nepali Hallelujah" The popularity of "Sara Shristi" spread from the growing Nepali church to the further Christain world. In the meantime the family of the Kumar Pradhans from Darjeeling (the children of long time headmaster Mahendra Kumar Pradhan of Turnbull High school , Darjeeing), led by the dynamic duo Kiran and Jivan Kumar Pradhans came out with one of the first series of recorded Christian Nepali Music. The first volume came out in a pre-recorded cassette format around 1995 and was called "Sara Shristi". While its many songs were quickly accepted and soon became popular, the title song was missing from this initial volume. By 1998, the next in the series followed and was named "Naya Shristi" or new creation and contained the much sought after song "Sara Shristi". "Naya Shristi" also became hugely popular, with its choral music, melodiously sung in harmony of several parts, it had an occidental rendering with an oriental heart. Dear brother! From Nepali this song was first written in Hindi in 1982 itself, by Pastor Wilson George, who was present in thatJesus calls Darjeeling meeting with Bro. Rajan Thirumalai & Jesus Calls prayer team. The 3 added stanzas are not translations but written by Pastor Wilson himself, with Bro. Kiran’s consent. A slight variation was also made from the original Nepali tune with Bro Kiran Pradhan’s permission for the ease of congregational singing. This song was first recorded by Pastor Wilson George in 1986 in his album ‘Yahova Nissi’. Then later this was translated into many other languages, including Malayalam. It would be appropriate to write the credits right.

KAIROS - EVAN RANA When you are singing in Hindi, then appropriate to mention Pastor Wilson George's name in credit because in Hindi the song is written by him and moreover the lyrics of stanzas are not translation but originally written by him.
