Thanks for this video, a lot of feelings. I am Swedish and I am very proud of it. I know you Poles mention us as the enemy in your national anthem and rightly so, we were an imperialist country at the time. But today our countries stand united, we have both developed and achieved success off the battlefield in a friendly world. I often go to Gdansk and enjoy your beautiful country, fine culture and nice people. Unfortunately, we have an imperialist country close to us that has not really learned how to move forward in development. In fact, it was to their credit that a few hundred years ago when we lost the Battle of Poltava we began a new journey towards prosperity and left imperialism behind us. The good will win over evil once again, that's how we will move forward as a civilization even stronger. Greetings to all nice Polish friends from Sweden.

Actually nobody looks at Sweden as anemy in any way in Poland. History is history and we're more busy with fighting Germans during 1000 years, Rusians any own politics who're bought by US an EU who're Germany.

We Poles are Sweden as the country of application in Europe, good and normal, just like Finland, Norway, Belgium, the Netherlands, Italy, Spain, Greece. I'm not talking about Germans. They consider Poland a country with nationalist tendencies... Really? We? Nationalists are those who create empires. We unite to survive. Unfortunately, the propaganda claims that Poland is bad. Bullshit. The truth is that justice must be fought for. Greetings from Sweden

It's terrible that history, especially in Russia and Germany, is taught in school for 15 minutes, the topic is ignored, they know that there were Nazis, but how can a grandfather tell his grandson that he attacked, raped, stole and murdered?

The happy part I think… is the thought that many of these young people in the audience are grandchildren and great grandchildren of those brave Polish freedom fighters. They are there and hearing this wonderful song and experiencing this proud moment because of the sacrifices and bravery of their ancestors. It’s very emotional and inspirational. Sabaton is amazing.

Regarding people not learning: I am german. Those 40.000 invaders were my countryman, and we would wreak havoc on and cause suffering in europefor the next six years. I was born 1965. My generation was brought up with one sentence: "Never again shall war come out of Germany." I think this is still something most Germans hold on to. OK, there are always some, but ... Despite this learning process, due to the fighting in Ukraine we had to face the possibility that war might come TO us without any invitation fron our side. We had sort of forgotten about that after the end of the cold war. It just takes one bad guy in the neighbourhood to ruin it for the rest. To know we're not the ones this time is nice but no protection against missiles and such. Regarding politicians not fighting: The late Scottish folk singer Andy M. Stuart put it like this: "The rich men they have plenty, and the poor folk they have none. But who has to die when the bullets fly? It's the poor man and his son." Greetings from the Ruhr district!

Ja was lubię.

Beautiful reaction. Thank you! I always feel triumphant listening to Sabaton songs. And patriotic. I'm Swedish, but listening to this i become a proud Polish for a moment. Greets! Ps. I agree with everything you said about war and learning from the past. The politicians start the wars and don't participate. The day the people start saying no to fighting, that's when big wars might end. I remember a saying - "what if there was a war... and no one showed up." Isn't that a beautiful thought.

The beauty of Sabaton is that these people will live on and be remembered all over the world. Because of Sabaton, people have now heard about Capt. Władysław Raginis and the Polish soldiers at the Battle of Wizna. People have now heard about the Night Witches. People have now heard about Corp. Leslie "Bull" Allen (The Ballad of Bull). People have heard about Francis Pegahmagabow (A Ghost in the Trenches). Alvin York (82nd All The Way). And many more. The world knows their stories now and they won't be forgotten.

Proud is not the right word, im german, and listening to a Sabaton song about a german Unit, Person, an event...its like telling a Story we learned at school, sharing it to the world. But no pride...I may only speak for me and my friends. But we met so many nice guys in Poland, we all went to the concert, and we became friends. Thats what music can do, and Sabaton was the initial key!

Seems to have a special connexion between Poland and Sabaton. Several songs are related to the polish history, winged hussars, 40-1, Uprising and the sadest one which you should absolutely react on is Inmate 4859 about the tragical history of the polish hero Witold Pilecky (watch the sabaton history about this topic, it's very very sad but this man's story deserves to be taught in every school in the world to show that dedication to a cause is sometime more important than our own life. A very great man and a great hero, an example) Long live to your channel. Greatings from France

Beautiful reaction to this song, one of my favorites. I do understand your feels about why so many people have to die in war, I am retired US. Air Force. There have been so many times in history when war could have been avoided but they went to war anyway. I'm also Celtic and in the times when Europe was dominated by them there was a practice between tribes that I wish we had today. If a tribe declared war on another tribe there was a choice either they all went out to fight or the two leaders or their champion would go out and fight and whoever won the other side surrendered. It is too bad we can't revive that practice isn't it.

Imagine how much of an experience it would be to not only be there as a Pole but also a German as well. An excellent reaction, and you should never be ashamed of feeling the emotions that come from stories of bravery and honor. You should consider The Last Battle by Sabaton, another tale of honor and bravery that has a slightly better outcome. Sadly, humans are an aggressive, territorial species and that will probably never end. the best we can do is honor those that follow an honorable path when forced to fight. That is what Sabaton is about. Best wishes from Iowa, USA. Stay safe and well.

I dont comment often , but this reaction and the discusion was good. Sadly it gone be high up people who is bad, sending out outhers in war. And it gone be a country who has to defend it self. But most soldiers from any country dont want to kill outhers. And i know this from many vets in different countrys. So we need to have hope and go against war for sure, at the same time not blinded. But in hope we go and (for me ) in God i trust to make me keep that hope even in death. Dont apologise for having feelings. And a lighter thing is that Sabbaton is making many feel proud of things happend, forgotten heroes or the reality of war but in a good way and not for starting war.

He got an AWESOME wife! And she got a really amazing hubs. How awesome is i to share something like this with the same WTF--THIS IS AWESOME! approach. Wifey (forgive me, the name escapes me) gives me the same impression I get every time I look at my wife: the mother of my son, mother to so many puppers--FAMILY! You both are so open and excited to explore so many new music that it actually reminds me of my wife. She is just the same. I actually introduced her to some of her now favorite groups and took her to rock out with them in concert while pregnant with our son. Needless to say, he is a metal-head and needs the hard-rock when he can't fall asleep or his seizures or ADHD gets in the way. Watching the both of you just really reminds me of the time I took my wife to her first Josh Groban concert where he sang the song that I sent her in her darkest moment where she did not think she could go on. 13+ years later, she still gets teary and clingy in a good way when she hears it. Your amazing wife FEELS emotion so deeply and with understanding that, my hat is off to you both. Please keep being so honest and emotional. That is why you are so genuine. Edited to add: Dominica, found the name in the comments, forgive me for being impertinent, I FEEL YOU. Please, do NOT ever STOP feeling. It is so hard for those of us who feel so deeply. We always ask ourselves: WHY! You have a heart like my amazing wife, not weakness or shying away from conflict, you have the courage to stand up when it is what is NEEDED. That is one of the many reasons why my wife is so amazing and my literal fantasy girl. I see how hubs looks at you in conversation, how you look at him, THAT CONNECTION.... Well, I am waxing philosophical after a case of Corona boosters...I have shared with my wife this video and many others. All I can say is: THANK YOU BOTH! You keep this level of communication going and you will have a long and happy marriage. RESPECT!

What about your freedom? Is that something to fight for? If so, are you ready to kill for it? Because if you are not, you will be in another fight than your enemy, the one that wants to take your freedom away. This one don't care if you don't want to kill him/her. This one wants to kill you to have his/her way. That's what you are up against. / Micke P PS. Great reaction btw.

Love the reactions, and don't be too concerned about showing your emotions - power to you, because it makes the reactions very earnest and even more worth watching. You should consider checking out Sabaton History - they and Indy Neidell host history episodes for all of their songs, if you want to check out how they started going even further with their teaching of history in recent years. Those history episodes are presented with emotional weight of their own, that are superb additional supports to their songs now. I always advise watching them before the song if you have the opportunity, because you get even more emotional investment, but they're worth checking out regardless, if you are so inclined.

Dlaczego? Bo taki jest ludzki gatunek, my nie mamy nikogo nad nami jako gatunek by walczyć o dominację, przetrwanie. Dlatego walczymy z sobą bo tylko my jesteśmy w stanie z sobą walczyć.

Nawet małe dzieci powinny to wiedziec. Ironia losu

Sabaton is not political their mantra is “ Lest We Forget” because they sing about the human sacrifices of military heroics, failures, and losses of the human spirit! We all are the same we just want to love, laugh and be free. The years go by and history repeats itself and war starts again. Lest We Forget is really Sabaton’s battle cry to remember that history of war and if we remember the heroics, terror, & sacrifices that maybe just maybe we won’t go to war if our governments tell us to go because it’s not worth it just let the people figure out how to solve disagreements & our power of numbers that our politicians won’t have the power to send us to war. I’ve always said if our leaders declare a war on some country let their children be in the first wave then I will go & fight & die. God Bless Rock on ! Stay Safe!🙏🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘

You might also want to react to the song "Hearts of Iron" or maybe for a change to the Sabaton History Channels Video about that Song. It is about another timeframe, about another side and about a whole other happening during the ending stage of the 2 WW. But yeah... It also have the phrase "Seem's like nothing's been achieved" Like in all wars up to this point... everything, in the end, has not achieved anything meaningfull. At the end of the day, one person just wants to have a life in peace. however everyone wants to live, some want to be alone. Some want to find love, some even want to raise children. You are absolutely warm heartful persons. And among my favourite Reactors so far. Wish you everything best for the future.

The worst about this subject is that the Soviet Army could have stopped it by helping, but they didn't, same with other ally nation's. The same about the end of the medieval Holy Roman Empire, the Polish people got screwed again.
