Greetings, guys from Ukraine! I like your reactions. It is obviously visible without an "unarmed eye", that you really in love with rock and metal and have real understanding about all the staff, but i want to make a historical remark: nazi (only small letters for them) helmets were quite weak in protection and weight in comparison with Soviet's helmets. Style is only an illusion (sounds almost like Uriah Heep )))) , like a nazi uniform with wool in it....especially in summer days. nazi helmets were so cool...but only, when they were on wooden crosses.

This is so great that you are interested in the history of different countries and here you have recognised the Soviet Anthem! Regarding the football tournaments, first huge tournament which I really remember is Euro 2004 in Portugal. Portugal had an opening game against Greece (and unlucky final then as well, as u know), and I've heard the Portuguese Anthem for the first time and I was really impressed with it, especially when crowd was singing it! Random input: the British helmets in the World Wars protect specifically against shrapnel in a trench. ^^ The German ones are essentially a remake of the late medieval Sallet and the initial Russian one was too similar to the German one with echoes of the French Adrian helmet mixed in - the second one is rather similar to the US GI pot.^^ Also - more random input => this is actually a *cover* of the Radio Topok *original* ^^. The design of the helmets has changed over time. Understanding comes with experience, and the Germans were more experienced with the First World War. The Soviet Union refused everything Russian, but then the experience of the Russian Empire began to take into account and then the design became cool.

So, fun fact. The helmets the Russians have in this video are actually German m56 helmets. They were helmets designed for the Wehrmacht but later used by the communist East German army. Actual Russian helmets where the ssh36 and ssh40, which look a lot better in my opinion. It was just a mistake on sabatons part
