oh about weapons they had the gewerhr 43 well the early ones 41-42s at that point not a in a ton of numbers but russia was even worse off with nagants and some ppsh maybe a few SVTs but I think they come later but the ppsh which though effective in close range were useless at most ranges but also at that time one member of a german squad had a light machine gun something that was not common at the time and officers or squad leaders had mp40s as well as some special troops
