"Living or Dead" makes more sense to me, reminds me of a SS march song ("SS Marschiert in Fiendesland" - wo wir sind da geht's immer vorwarts - wherever we are, we're always ahead), and "leaving our dead" would incline that the song is from the perspective of the Alies, yet the song goes "fed by YOUR dread" . And btw who doesn't leave dead in war? :) On the official Sabaton website, it says "living or dead". Mystery solved :)

@MieszkoDrugi213 жыл бұрын
@Ghost31366 Tygrys był powolny, paliwożerny i ogromnie awaryjny. Zaopatrzenie i ciągłe remonty były ogromnym problemem. Niemcy nadrabiali elitarnym wyszkoleniem.

I don't really know what Sabaton song that would fit, but thinking of "Panzer Elite" made me really wish that you made a video of SS-Hauptstrurmführer Michael Wittmann of the 1st SS-Panzerdivison Leibstandarte and SS-Panzerabteilung 101. Really the best and most feared Panzer-commander of the world war II.

@xavieremanuel Tankietki TKS z działem 20mm były w stanie zniszczyć czołg niemiecki , do życzenia pozostawał pancerz takiego pojazdu .

rather than a division commander issuing orders from his headquarters. He expected all his commanders to lead from the front as well. In addition, he would sometimes deliberately 'lose' communications with the High Command if he felt it necessary. His fearless command of the 7th Panzer Division showed his confidence and understanding of blitzkrieg concepts...

@MieszkoDrugi213 жыл бұрын

I must say even though I dislike Hitlers anti jewish point of views and other things he is decent leader (Though he failed several battles and lost hundreds of Divisions and soldiers due to him not listening to his brilliant Generals). He boosted the economy and created one of the most powerful Empires of the time. He utterly destroyed DOZENS of countries (Most credit goes to the Armed forces and his best Commanders; Rommel, Guardien). Not to mention the supreme technological advances of the time. As I seen in greatest tank battles the poor French Tank men with terrible small weapons, Their tank barrel was about the size of your computer and they were decimated by the very fast and over powered Panzers.
@hellomon10010 жыл бұрын
The Panzers were designed to win a war. and overpower, so they carried powerful guns and heavy armor while sporting engines that can push them fast.

@blackassasin1756 жыл бұрын
Filip Karlsson I’m late here but I will say certain aspects of this notion are not true: Hitler’s generals wanted Moscow while he wanted Stalingrad and the lands near it. It does not make too much sense to take Moscow because it was heavily protected and gives no strategical advantage, USSR govt. would just hide much further into Russia and it would take forever. Hitler’s plan to take the southern part made more sense because The Germans were basically out of oil and the Stalingrad area was nothing but Oil fields, obviously there were screw ups and Russia/USSR is/was far too big and too many people to actually beat in an invasion... (Unless you are Mongolian)...

The 7th Panzer Division moved with great speed through France and covered vast distances. During the Battle of France, the 7th Panzer Division earned the name of the Ghost Division (German:"Gespensterdivision") because its rapid movements led to few knowing exactly where the Division was, including the German High Command. Rommel had a "lead from the front" attitude and often commanded from the turret of a tank, thus becoming a mere company commander...

@SkadTheReaper well you are in some points right, but at the beginning of the invasion of france they had inferior tanks, because tigers and panthers etc. were not born than. They won that war because of superior tactics and strategics, and because the maginot line (the french trusted fully on it) was a big fail.
