Fun fact: "Gott mit uns" as a soldiers motto is even older than the 30 years war. It still was on the German Army´s belt buckle in WWII when they marched into the abyss

Yeah, the voice that sounds different is actually the producer of the album that is singing. One of the members that was suppose to sing those parts didn't arrive in time so the producer sang them! They explained that in their history video of Gott mit uns.

Gott mit uns is German for 'God With Us'. (I do speak German) It's interesting though cause Sabaton is Swedish.

Yes, but at the time there were huge protestant german units under swedish command, and the swedish soldiers adopted it
