Heavy metal is in Dire Straits. But, I won't stand idly by at the gates of Rammstein, I'll take the powers of Dragonforce and go with the morbid angel to assure that heavy metal is avenged, sevenfold! Pop and hip-hop will fall into a puddle of mudd, allowing me to trample them with the sabatons of my metal boots. Then, at the dream theater, my foo fighters and I will bow before the kreator on the day of the black Sabbath, and hopefully someday, I'll meet a mercyful fate as the lamb of God. the death of pop and the megadeth of hip-hop may have been overkill but I'll see my friend Ozzy, I'll be able to free my twisted sister, Alice, from her chains, and my suicidal tendencies will vanish.

I can imagine this being the last metal song ever. A kind of reflection on how great this music is before it fades out of existance.

as much as we want to take down pop, let's not deny our community and make sure we are civil, we don't need no crazy stalker fans or what kpop is doing, we just need our community, keep it how it is, take down what we want to without no bloodshed, we're all in the metal crüe yknow, or family

It's a guy who sings (sung?) in a band called Skyride, they even mention that band before the last chorus (Take a Skyride with me, then you'll see.) They're quite unknown, I don't know if they ever even got a record deal, but he and Sabaton are quite good friends, he was back up singer for Sabaton at some gigs around 2006, and even lead singer at one gig when Jocke was ill.
