Even if WWIII was to happen, it's highly unlikely they would make a song based on it. They don't like doing current events as they want to ensure they are accurately covering what happened. With modern events, it's often difficult to get accurate reports from all sides as to what happened. I am pretty sure the most historically recent song they have done is Reign of Terror which covers Operation Desert Storm and that was almost 30 years ago.

In the current day and age, there are some events everybody knows a different version of and making a song about it *will* make someone out there angry and call them something like a politic band. Even older wars are still kind of hard to make a accurate enough representation of, as the records for those are problematic too. @@dragonmerchant recently I got transverse myelitis which is inflammation of the spinal cord so you can’t move anything. Anyway I was about to walk out the door to go to school and a pain shot through my shoulders and my fingers stopped move I tried and tried but would move and I sat down to try to release myself because I was stressed and I tried to stand and I just fell so my mom called an ambulance the paramedics were ass btw and I went to the hospital and I was on the verge of giving up and doing nothing but there songs motivated me to keep going and I’m making really good recovery and I actually stood with help but I stood!

The A-H used the attack of Gavrilo to test the serbian govt. by sending an ultimatum for preventing a war that was against serbian sovereignty (or autonomy) that said the A-H will send THEIR investigators into Serbia to check if the secret organisation ,,Black hand" was involved with the attack thus denying Serbian constitution itself. The govt. didn't accept it and A-H anounced a war. So a national Austro-hungarian who was ethnically a Bosnian gave the excuse for Austro-Hungary to start a war with Serbia, that was the excuse
