For a complete newbie: Sabatti tactical Evo in 308 or cz range 308?

On gunbroker there is magazines for sale for this rifle. They are impossible to find. I have been looking for over three years. Only place in the world that had some. Was in Canada. And they would not ship to USA. The US importer had a auction. And a gentleman bought six. He recently listed them for $35 each. I bought two. I paid one hundred dollars for one years ago. Also if you have problems with the brass ejecting. It is because the brass ejects at 2 o’clock. Have to use scope rings that are between 1.25 -1.4 inches high. Do not use a one piece mount. It will interfere as well. Look at your scope rail. There will be some brass marks on the bottom. I thought I had a bad ejector or something. Because when you cycle the bolt. It happens so fast you don’t see or hear it hitting. The new models don’t have this problem.

I have the same rifle in Germany, (in .308 Win) this Thing is awesome for the Money. ......with the Hornady A-Max 168 Grain Ammo works great !!!

I bought mine because it is a 1-12 twist. I shoot 55gr and 60gr vmax. Stupid accurate. Italian Firearms Imports these rifles. And I just bought a scope rail from them. They don’t say anything about selling parts on their website. But if you call them they have parts and accessories.

in my opinion higher cap mags are are not available for Sabatti.

Why do you want higher capacity ?

@@blacksand9805 cos I shoot a lot of competitions where 10 rounds are needed, and swapping mags out would increase my time against guys who have standard 10 round mags if I'm stuck using the standard 5 rounder.

@@weegaz22 if you mean PRS competition, i think the Sabatti is too heavy anyway. It is made for prone shooting or to shoot from a bench. Look at their "Tactical Evo US" model : larger capacity mag + lighter gun

Very interesting for less than $1000! I downloaded the brochure and the only thing I don't understand is the 1 in 12 rate of twist for this one. I think maybe 1 in 8 would be ideal for VLD heavy grain. But anyway yes with that accuracy and slow twist it's very impressive. I noticed they offer 6.5x47 Lapua. I would be very curious about that one!

I am from Malta and have a Sabatti Tactical Synthetic in .223 rem .. I wanted a 1:9 . Talked to the local agent and ordered it like that. they made it for me . I shoot 69g Scenars to 600m with good results on plates
