I think SABC 1 should revisit that concept that worked back then, and modify it a bit to accommodate us as the new generation. I remember growing up and always being excited and no other channel was watched at home. Starting when I come back from school and YOTV was the bomb back then " and yes I used the word the bomb lol" and then come the sitcoms every weeknight at 7 we watched the funniest sitcoms ever. However I am all for the idea of having local content but the is no doubt that at the time those were the good old days.

They should go digital. Move with the times that way they can make money and create the content people want to see. I don't watch regular tv anymore, but I still want good shows. The shows on tv SABC right now just aren't doing it for me. When I was growing up, seems around the same time as yourself (I'm 30), there were great local shows that everyone in the country would tune in to watch daily.
@3rdeyezero315 Жыл бұрын
U cant have good content with a corrupt government and celebrities that only want money, this country is way to greedy now so there is no passion in any local content and its painfully obvious from what we had back then, even local kid shows on tube was way better than any of the crap out now
