What about the over qualifications needed to get just a normal job? To get a waitering job, you need 2 years of experience to get it!! That's ridiculous! We don't need training or experience for certain jobs, cause they're easier enough to learn by doing them!! The standards for jobs needs to be lowered! Also we need more industry in this country, if we could get all the industrial jobs from China, we would be extremely rich here in Africa! Let's take China's jobs!!

Funding a business that has not started just because it has a business plan is a very dumb concept, This mentality of expecting to have funding, especially from the government is one of the major reasons entrepreneurship will not grow amongst the youth. This guy is truly a useless activist, who I suspect is really just thinking for his own pockets and his 11 business plans. I say this as a person from a township who struggled for years to start small at my business as well, it will never be easy but no one needs funding to start. Funding is for growth not for starting, wake up, and stop making excuses. Government is not the solution, more graduates for jobs that don't exist is not the solution, complaining that funding is not available is part of the problem too.

You are thinking in small scale. If you worked for a automotive manufacturing plant and want to start manufacturing certain key components to support that industry, then how do you start small ? How do you start small if you the one that conceptualised Facebook or WhatsApp ? Certain things need funding from only an idea stage. Funding is not only for growth my brother, it is also used to start-up. Start-ups are funded daily, let go of this hard knock life mentality…it just needs a viable business plan. However innovative entrepreneurs find themselves not getting funding due to the lack of vision and hindsight from the funding agencies. But I will screen grab this comment. So we can discuss in the years to come, so you can see what was being said in the interview.

I hear both of your points gents...kshuthi when you're starting a hustle type of business you only need funding once you've started, but when you want to go big (like mining, manufacturing) you need funding from the get go.
