Imagine if America shut down 6 hundred US companies in SA, can the United States afford sanctions to posed sacntions against SA...The answer is simply "No"..Janet Yellen admitted that sanctions is coming back to the United States is not an option..If so that will force South Africa to look for other alternatives other trading partners...People don't understand what is Sanctions...Sanctions don't only affect Russia or South Africa for that matter, it also have affect an affect on other Trade relations with other Countries....

Trade with the US is second to China by only $1bn. RSA trade with the USA, EU and Japan is more than double all the trade with China, India and African countries. Russia hardly even ranks as a trade partner with exports only being about $228 million and our imports totaling about $660 million. Russia has nothing to offer as it is on the way to becoming an economic wasteland. If we lose US and EU trade just imagine the economic devastation to the people of South Africa.
