Civil society is calling for a national dialogue to forge a way forward for a united South Africa. This comes as the talks between the ANC and the DA have hit a snag. We are now joined by Lindiwe Gadd, a Member of the Chief Albert Luthuli Foundation.... and a representative of the 9 Civil Society organisations that are making a call for a national dialogue.

It was supposed to be called long time ago. Unemployment ,inequality, poverty and crime have been with us for a long tim.

How is civil society composed? I just hear this being thrown in the ring! How different is it to civics? CIVIL SOCIETY!! How are we represented by the group as rural people. Where does this organization account to? Time and time again the people just appear on Tv calling themselves Civil society and speak as if they have mandate from the said society. I saw political parties seeking a mandate but I have never seen something called CIVIL SOCIETY asking at least in our village mandate to speak on our behalf. The last time I checked, we were a SOCIETY.

Another talk shop where natives ask for forgiveness always pleading with people who have no conscious. We need justice redress where is the stolen land.
