I also think that you don’t seem to know the difference between “from the heart” and “off by heart”. You said people who actually experienced apartheid, don’t you know that trauma is comes from generation to generations? So you are not apologizing to the offsprings of the victims ? They were raised by traumatized parents . Call it what it is , it was a crime against humanity not past mistakes .
@gopolanglekoto3 жыл бұрын
@@zozibiningqula3316 We can call it a crime against humanity, I'm okay with that. But I never experienced Apartheid (which I am glad I never did). And claiming to suffer from trauma by osmosis is wrong and dishonest. You are diminishing the actual trauma experienced by the actual victims, i.e my parents and grandparents. It's insane to think I also have my grandpa's trauma! Someone who was kicked and jailed and had dogs put on him. My daily experience today in 2021 does not compare to his experience at my age in 1970. The trauma I have is the trauma of ANC failure and bad policy choices, not Apartheid

@@zozibiningqula3316 Nope, you definitely suggesting I have trauma like those who came before. Telling me trauma is passed from generation to generation. Lady, you're not special. I also had freedom fighters in my family. My late grandpa who died a year ago told me incredible stories, some tragic and heart breaking, some victorious and some just funny. By the way, it's "epigenetics", not "epi-genetics" 🙄This is not an argument to have widespread Apartheid counseling. If it is true we have "trauma" through epigenetics, then we would need to create PROSPERITY for people since epigenetic changes are REVERSIBLE (they're not genetic changes, remember?). Dude I've read Steve Biko and sorry, but he doesn't describe Black Consciousness as "Apartheid counseling" and victim mentality or anything to do with that. Forgiveness and moving forward is what I want. I want JOBS, low crime rate, low taxes, I want to go to space one day. This is a very much honest man......with integrity. All we need wealth distribution. Oppenheimerandothers believed that apartheid can be maintained through economic means . When you go to the bank today, they will ask you, how many house you have in Cape town, Windhoek and how many cars you have, hat is the size of your farm. That is Apartheid against those who were disadvantage to have those means in the past. Therefore, there is no need to explain what every person can see. if you are black or white. The poor family in Namibia and SA are still suffering from economic apartheid between those who have and those who have not. Therefore, the battle will continue until Jesus come or economic apartheid is destroyed. Other wise the game will go back to the drawing table.
