I am a South African working abroad, 20 years now, and the laws are the same. For you to employ foreigners, you must prove beyond reasonable doubt that you have advertised jobs and that there are no locals to fill the post. This is how we went overseas through agencies as the most required specialised skills, not as labourers and waitresses. It is not called Xenophobia. Legal or not. That is utterly wrong my guy. Think from a military point of view. Will any country allow military camps to be setup openly so that the enemy can see you? Do not lie...proper MK people will tell you that they were integrated in communities. Do not be fed propaganda...the integration was even to the extent that some were given citizenship in those countries. In 1980 when Zimbabwe held its first elections, some MK soldiers voted in those elections as they were integrated with ZIPRA forces...they were one unit and staying in homes of ZIPRA families...From a military point of view, you cannot operate openly...that is why MK was called an underground force what is underground by living in an open bush in camps? Remember that SADF was going into front-line states to murder MK soldiers and also working with askaries to gather intelligence. Camps will just expose you....I know a few people personally who were born in Tanzania in Dodoma and they say they lived in the location with local citizens of Tanzania. That is why many MK soldiers can speak Swahili and Portuguese. How will you learn the language if you are living separately from the local population? Think about it.

So they lived in exile exclusively in Camps? LOL...you see...not everyone in exile was a soldier...remember that there is a logistic arm of the military. People worked in foreign countries...working during the day, performing logistic duties for movement of MK goods after hours...guns and military weapons need to be moved....someone had to inflitrate the system and work inside to assist. What i am seeing from the comments is that we all have MK connections who are telling us different stories. It leads me to one conclusion...it depends what role or function you played in the MK movement. To claim that all MK people stayed in camps is an utter lie...that is not true...we too have relatives and friends who participated in the struggle. Where did Mavuso Msimang stay in ZIM? Where did Chris Hani stay in Zim or Lesotho? Zweli Mkhize was a medical doctor in Zim...Cyril Ramaphosa's wife was a Medical Doctor in Zim...Zuma's wife Kate worked for the post office in Zim...we can give you many examples in Mozambique, Swaziland, Lesotho, e.t.c...So its clear to me that nopt everyone was a soldier with a gun...some others were part of the communities, receiving people who crossed into those countries, moving goods, e.t.c...But to claim that they were ALL restricted in movement and stayed separately from locals is utter nonsense...Let us agree to disagree. Your MK connections are telling you what they are telling you...and my MK connections and relatives are telling me what they are telling me...its life...we can have different versions of history...
