Do you know what the difference is between sabertrio's Mid grade neo blade and their heavy grade neo blade ? I'd like to know what is the difference in brightness between the two (if you know) . Sorry for the late reply, but my Sabetrio neopixel blades are all mid grade. So I can't say how they differ in brightness. I've done some moderate dueling with my neopixel blades and I haven't had any issues with the LEDs being damaged.

Sabertrio only has limited sales periodically because of COVID-19 restrictions in Malaysia. They just had a sale on the 20th. They won't have another sale for at least another four or five months. If they do, it will likely be fairly small. So at least now you get a chance to save up a few hundred bucks until then and possibly buy a nice looking Neo Pixel saber.

Yes, I didn't demonstrate it in this video, but all of Sabertrio's Neopixel sabers have a "spectrum" menu where you can change the sabers color to whatever you want

Question: What blade length do you prefer after using your 36.7'' inch blade for the last 3 months ? the 32 or 36.7 ?? I just bought a Skylar from Sabertrio on their thanksgiving reopening, and i have chosen a 32'' mid grade blade but i feel like i might regret getting a 32. I''m 5.9 too so what would you suggest if you only had to pick one size all over again ? Let me know I could still request a change since i don't think they started production on my saber yet. thanks in advance!

For a single saber, I would now prefer a 36.7" blade over a 32" blade. However, I haven't tried out a double/staff saber with 36.7" blades. I really like the length of two 32" blades for a double saber. I would really like to find out at some point what I prefer for double sabers.

@@babefett8020 Thanks for your input, i will consider going for 36.7, i haven't made up my mind yet but well see. As for a double bladed lightsaber sincerely i'm pretty sure 32'' would be the right way as 36.7 on both side is going to be a very long staff, and about 7'.9'' long total. That's taller than yourself. And i'm sure 32 would look more screen accurate. But i agree 36.7 for one saber tends to look and feel more screen accurate.

I absolutely love the look of illuminated AV switches. I have a couple of white av switches on some other sabers made by other brands. The white doesn't only look amazing, it matches every lightsaber color. I haven't seen other colors in person. But I do know that white is awesome, and I would recommend getting illuminated switches on all of your sabers.

Only of you put them on too tight. Sabertrio recommends you tighten them until you can't twist the blade around in the hilt anymore. But I twist them until I start having to apply pressure, then I just tighten them a little bit after that point

Does it remember what settings you left it at, so you wouldn't need to go through a setup each time?

Yes, if I left it on the "Shatterpoint" font, and say... the lightsaber dies or goes into deep sleep mode, when I charge it or re-activate it, it will still be on the "Shatterpoint" font. However, if I customized any colors or blade profiles, while in spectrum mode/blade profile selections, it will revert back to the default color and blade profile I have set up on the SD card in the saber. I forgot to preview any of the blade profiles or spectrum mode in the video, but there are a lot of other videos that go over such things all over KZbin. I think that Darth Koopa does a great job at this.

Yes, the saber comes with an allen wrench that you can use to remove the shrouds.

I've never owned a thin-neck saber like the Aeryn, but with the shrouds off, the Senza has a third grip point that's *very* comfortable. I can see both being very viable options.

Nice video :) I have a short question: can the control box with the OLED-screen be removed and/or turned of, while the saber is turned on? :) I like the idea of the box, but I am not sure if I would always want it turned on when I use the saber.

Sabertrio recommends that you don't remove the control box unless you are accessing the saber's electronics. And I don't believe you can turn off the screen while the saber is on.

@@PhysX99 When the saber is on, all the screen does is display a spinning crystal. The main thing that drains the battery, of course, would be the 135 LEDs in the blade. When I have the saber on with a blade plug in, (just 7 LEDs), the battery can last for a VERY long time. Even if you were at Comic-Con flexing your saber for 9 hours, I doubt it would die. So basically, the OLED screen hardly drains any battery

If you plan on using a neo pixel blade without the blade, (I use the saber without a blade whenever I have it attached to my belt) you need a blade plug. The saber won't make any sounds without something being in contact with the pins in the hilt. The saber will just say, "primary crystal missing," until you plug something in.

@@Toastyeo from what I understand, they sound the same. The biggest difference between the two is the ability to customize and program the saber. Cfx is a lot simpler, and easier to use. But Proffie has a lot more options, and allows for more detailed customization. It's just a lot more complicated to program

Roughly. It's hard to say, the camera has a hard time picking up the color of the blade itself, which is why it shows up as white in the middle. You can see the effects much better in real life.

If you are a patient person, I would recommend the etching. I'm saving up for another Senza, but this time I will be etching it. I think it's very much worth having your own custom saber.

@@lydiagear3788 I personally haven't requested a custom acid etch yet. But from what I understand how it works, is they email you asking what you want. You can either design it yourself, or you can send them pictures of what you want your design to be inspired from. Then they'll have one of their designers come up with a design and send you a picture before they engrave anything. You'll pretty much repeat that process until you are satisfied with your design.
