I'm going to address the Ride volume being too low in the MIX for everyone that has concerns... What actually happened was the small pencil Condenser mic that was close miking the rides, shit itself during recording. The capsule literally died and just recorded full distortion. This meant that the Cymbal audio you hear comes ONLY from the overheads. NOW, in a nice big room that would be all fine to work with. However, in a very small, plaster walled room with MASSIVE reflections and a pretty terrible overall sound, you get amplification of the shells vs the cymbals because they are putting our far more energy. In order to balance the sound of the kit (IE, not have too much gross sounding Kick and snare) coming through the Overheads, they are volumed down slightly, but also low passed particularly high. It was overall just a shitty situation that did not yield the results that I would have wanted, but I uploaded anyways because while it is not perfect, it is still better than nothing.

Best sounding Bow and one of the best sounding Bells. Terrible edge though IMO. I like to crash on my rides a lot so its not for me. Wish they showed an AAXPlosion Ride.

what I am really looking for, is TWO ride cymbals. BOTH having ALMOST NO build up, like the Zildjian "Ping" rides, of of significantly higher pitch than the other. Yes, I play both right and left hand ride cymbals in my every day setup.

I like the Power Bell concept, except, if you’re going to make a bell that big, compensate the rest of the body. Like a 24” Version might sound better. I’m sure the metal guys wouldn’t have a problem with it being bigger either.
