Sabine: You win this round. The Cup: Win this round? I'm a cup, Lady not a training droid.

Love the actress; she nails Sabine to a T. Cute face as well.

Beautifully damning that the dead air is cut out of this clip to make the scene move

The only problem I had with Sabine Wren trying to move the cup was she failed. Not even a wobble out of the cup when trying to use the force. Do or Do not. There is no try. As quoted by Yoda.
@fullmetal1002 Жыл бұрын
Sabine can move the cup. Just that she needs to stop thinking, which is impossible. They have been taught to think for themselves since they were young and not rely on anyone for help.

I find it compelling. We've had characters with medium and high force sensitivity. It's quite fresh the have a character that actually has to struggle through it all; each small step is a massive victory for her and she immediately has to fight to take another.
@fullmetal1002 Жыл бұрын
@callumreilly9107 that true. In star wars lore, you have to be force sensitive to be a jedi or a sith. But what happens when an ordinary person were to be taught the ways of the jedi?
@callumreilly9107 Жыл бұрын
@@fullmetal1002 I mean, she is force sensitive. Just to a mild degree. For example, It’s cool to see other people doing somersaults and stuff, but it’s a compelling story to see someone’s hard work and eventual success at doing a flip.

it was never gonna work. as a Mandalorian, it was always come from a need.

this was always gonna fail. as a Mandalorian -- she was always gonna have to forced. the normal ways wouldn't work.

It doesn’t matter about training and focus. If you do not have the midi-chlorian count like Sabine you never be sensitive to the force
@kein115 Жыл бұрын
you know what could be a good contrargument? that the dark side can be use more easy for the low midi-chlorian count beings. but the conection is to weak they cant be dronw by the dark side... but also it means they are weaker force power. but hey thats just my take... my nihilist take

Luke probably had the same m-count as Sabine when he met obi-wan. He got better, why can't she?
@itsasquid Жыл бұрын
The Force resides in all living things, even if you're not talented in wielding it. That was something even Lucas had in mind.
@jetguy128 Жыл бұрын
@@jonathancharron7360 Luke was able to wield the force due to genetics. Sabine does not have force wielding parents and she was not able to use any force abilities even as an adult. Ahsoka and Huyang both sense that she cannot use it at all. The most she can do is use the force to enhance her senses like chirrut
@jonathancharron7360 Жыл бұрын
@@jetguy128 wrong. In ep 9, luke says that "some things are more powerful than blood." Besides, Ezra's parents weren't sensitive, so why can't Sabine be sensitive too? Also, Ahsoka DOES sense great jedi potential in Sabine, that's why she's training her.
