Sabre2

The Sabre2 is a powerful semi-elliptical 9-cell canopy that is a great choice for current intermediate and experienced jumpers. Our most popular all-around canopy, the Sabre2 feels aggressive at higher wing loadings but is quite tame when lightly loaded. This canopy is best known for its powerful flare and wide speed range. The Sabre2 has a steeper glide and a longer recovery arc than the flatter gliding Pulse or Stiletto and is an excellent choice for those wanting a bit more aggressive piloting experience but are not interested in the demands of the Katana or Velocity.

I love my Sabre 2 150 since day one and I still love it! Also in comparison to the Sabre 3 its still a really good wing.

Absolutely love flying my Sabre 2 but it only opens on heading 1/5 times. Lmfao. Each time I deploy, I grab my rear risers as my Sabre 2 is still sniveling so I can stear it to a heading… The way the canopy flies is totally worth the openings if you ask me.

Looks like a really gentle opening upon deployment! May have to have a look at a new wing?? Just bought a new F-Gravity II paraglide acro wing so my wife mayyy have a little issue with me wanting another wing already this year haha

I love my Sabre2... but “so rare to get an off-heading opening” is just pure bs from my experience with it. Have put @200 jumps with it and 50% of the time it wants to 180 to either side. Saying it’s my deployment technique is fair criticism, but I did not have this issue with other canopies. I find it’s during the canopy snivel that it turns if you dont hold on to it. Im using it for wingsuiting until I get my Storm in a few months and luckily no cutaways but I would personally would not recommend it for it. Just my 2€

Afcourse, it is a commercial. It won't say it has the most shitty deployments for a square out of all competition... The dude selling pans one tv will tell you the same thing, it's the best!

Can it be use for beginners? I had now 27 jumps on a student canopy. Now i want to buy a new rigg (paratec next century) and a guy offer me the Sabre 2 in the size 190.
