@@davescryptodays1441 not sure. While both deserve to be on there and both Eras are well represented, Andreychuk holds the team record for most PP Goals, so that’s why I believe he should be on there.

Tage’s hand was injured last year and he was rushed back. He’ll hopefully return to 40+ goals Samuelsson was injured most of last year. Solid stay at home D-man if he can stay healthy. Jack Quinn who is a pure goal scorer who was out much of last year. He’ll put in 30?Cozens, Tuch and Tage all had down years. At least 2 should bounce back. Granato was a good teacher, but not a disciplinarian. The Okposo+Granato leadership tandem was by far the softest in the NHL. Players actually need to be benched and I hope they will be. The Lindy effect will pay dividends. Lindy has them actually sweating in practice. He keeps harping on “compete” as evidenced by the team laboring after drills. Granato practices were an absolute JOKE. Also, Lindy will implement an actual simple and effective defensive system. UPL was arguably the best goalie in the league from January on last year. The Sabres got rid of slow players in Okposo and Skinner and added the fastest players in the league (Aube-Kubel, Malenstyn and Mcloud). The Sabres need a full year of healthy Tage, Quinn, UPL, Samuelsson and growth from young players. That, combined with a better defensive system and power play (where they actually move the puck around) should result in more points. This Sabres team feels more like the 05-06 version than the version who missed the playoffs 13 years in a row. The offensive firepower, defensive structure and solid goalie tandem harken back to the glory days. If the young players can buy in and they, for once, experience an average amount of injuries, they’ll make the playoffs. What will actually happen? Dahlin gets injured in the first 2 minutes of practice during training camp and the Sabres let us all down again. I’m gonna reverse jinx it and say the Sabres miss the playoffs for the 14th year in a row and the curse stays strong. I hate my life.

Nope and with all the diversity noise nowadays Mckegney needs to be on the Mural for sure! He was drafted in the second round in 1978 and played 5 yrs for them and had 2 thirty plus goal seasons!

Leaving out Jim Schoenfeld and Tony Mckegney on the Mural is a joke ! Diversity now is a big topic so Mckegney needs to be on the mural not to mention he had decent numbers as a Sabres. 5 years in Buffalo where he had two 30 goal plus seasons. Schoenfeld played in Buffalo for 11 years and was a former Sabres captain and one of the best defensive defensemen in his era. In the 1979-1980 season he was a plus 60 and made the second all star team.
