Back when both teams are tough and they hate each others. Montreal had Todd "Animal" Ewen, Mario "Lightning-Fast" Roberge and Lyle Odelein. Buffalo had Rob Ray, Brad May and Gord Donnelly.

The 93 Canadiens roaster was a very very solid Club ! All around the best in the League at that moment. Buffalo got spanked by Montreal in that game and swept the Sabres in 4 games during the playoffs !

Damn straight! When you look at that Roster it's incredible how many of those guys could fight. Ewen obviously was the main tough guy but Roberge was very underrated as a tough guy too. Keane, Stevenson, Odelein, Sean Hill and LeClair and of course Captain Kirk could all handle themselves in a fight.
