Speed! I’ve always loved speed, ever since the first time I watched the Edmonton Oilers in the 80s…I love how fast and aggressive Buffalo is now, I couldn’t stand when Buffalo was slow as turtles and soft as a mink coat. It will be a great season, I expect them to get to second rd of playoffs or conference finals.

But... But... But.... Kulich😢. He should be here over Benson according to a bunch of people on here. 😂 I like kulich but he is not ready for the NHL. I believe Rosen is more ready than kulich. Kulich is a one dimensional scorer who lacks effort and knowledge on defense. Basically he is Olofsson. But people can't see it because they hear he scores in bunches.

Granato used preseason to play all the Rochester players and determine who would be sent down. Lindy is using it to determine what his strongest lines and D pairings will be. I believe we will be much more ready for opening of the season, although I wish we didn't have all the over seas travel, jet lag is not what they need to start the season with

I was at both games this weekend. Absolutely loved the fourth line with the new guys. They were nonstop putting in work. Favorite was for sure Malenstyn, nonstop working and going for hits everytime he was out there

There's always a few surprising teams each season.. look when the Knights went to the SC Final in their maiden season; The Panthers went to the SC Final as an 8th seed, 2 seasons ago; and just last season, the Canucks went from bottom feeders to a top4 seed, and 1st round winner. I have no doubt, the Sabres will be that surprising team this year... like 105 points, 3rd or 4th seed.. winning a playoff round or 2, or maybe further 🙏

Lindy is really got this team where we want them. The brightest part for me is the scoring is not just one or two lines... 1, we've had some D-men scoring including Samuallson... Him scoring is RARE.. like a steak still mooing.. 2. Powers put in two already... still no Dahlin who is our scoring d-man. This is spread around as it's not just top 2 lines but the bottom 2 as well... That's what Adams was trying to do. When 4 lines can all score, and you are the opponant, who do you match up against? Talk about screwing line matchups up. Yeah, it's mostly our top guys against their half and half... but it still shows up.

13 years of no play-offs leaves your team with a crap ton of high 1st round draft picks, 1st overall draft picks, and just a ton of skill overall. Just needed a coach to put it all together, a coach these players can respect and will get them to put in the effort, to finish checks, to fight for each other when other teams are playing dirty. Lindy is that guy and this team could surprise the entire NHL if this team can become physical with all the skill already on the team. Quinn, Benson, and JJ are the real deal, that is 3 young studs coming up to help TT, Cozens, and Tuch carry this team to at least the play-offs.

I know it’s early and I’m not doing a “Koolaid Keg Stand” after just 2 preseason games against teams playing a lot of AHL players, but based on the style the team is playing under the coach GMKA brought in and the SPEED and HITTING from the players he acquired, Adams should get a LOT of consideration for GM of the Year if this team ends the drought in a HUGE way!! Not saying it’ll happen, but if this small sample size is a glimpse of what the season may look like,he should be a strong contender!

Yes they have played mostly AHL teams in their first games but i think we have finally seen the last off the SLOW&SOFT Sabres! Looking forward to the season with a new formed bottom 6 forward group of Zucker Macleod & Greenway on one line and Malenstyn Lafferty and Aube-Kubel on the other. A very fast and tough bottom 6 forward group. Looking forward to the season as Lindy will hold the players accountable and and you said Wayne they will stick up for one another!. No more being pushed around and no more finishing in the bottom of the league in Hits ! Was pissed to see that the game was blacked out in southern Ontario?? Went to the Sabres website and it said it wasnt available in my area?? Ive already ordered the NHL Centre Package through my cable company ( Rogers) but as per usual most preseason games arent on TV . 🤬

I thought they played well in the first period despite the shots. I felt we had alot of chances just the shots got blocked or Lindy told them after that that they were too fancy and not playing simple. Levi was spectacular but he cannot play the puck. We will get a real test of our prospects in tomorrows game since all the NHLers are going to Europe. Is Benson getting better and better each shift??

I'm not trying to be a debbie downer but I think we're definitely over reacting to training camp. These are all good things to see with the hits and the scoring but we've basically faced both the Penguins and Bluejackets AHL rosters aside from a few players.

I agree Kevyn Adams shouldn't hasten The Rebuild, but, I think that he's become too trade shy because of the Hall & Staal & others year & that team could have & should have won, but, didn't because Ralph Krueger was A Horrible Coach. Adams beeds to make some moves. It happens to be the case that they're always changing The Players, Coaches & GMs. They have to do more than that, don't you agree?
