Hey Jeremy! I have been a loyal fan since your kick genius days and you’ve inspired me to tackle head on into my passion of sneakers and begin my sneaker review channel. I just wanted to educate you and those on your platform about the “fly wire” you mention in the S2. They are actually not fly wire! They are actually independent lateral and interior wing pieces in which then Nike sewed some thick nylon lines to the wing pieces and then it is laced through the eyelet and they added the black mesh to make it appear it is “fly wire” Because they contrast in color and almost cancel out to the eye. Think the lebron 21 light edition (without the extra base layer that makes the original chunky) and the midfoot is cut from the shoe and the pieces are placed just at the midfoot area and bam, Sabrina 2 support pieces.

I think as a extension of the tier review video (annual, semi-annual basis) you should be giving each shoe grades (S, A, B) just as a point of reference to see where it would stack up against some of the other shoes that have released in a given year. Would be really helpful as a point of reference in determining which shoe to get/how they compare with others. Great vid JJ!

I got the same size in my Player1 Plus's as I get in my Nikes (9.5), but I feel like these fit too tight. Maybe I have to break them in more. What's your experience with the sizing in the Player1 Plus?

@@temememas my feet are a bit on the wider side so it is a little snug and about a thumb left in the toe box. I don’t mind the fit as I like it snug but when I switched the insole out it gave me more room and feels better.

@@temememas forsure. in my box it came with an extra pair of insoles. I swapped them out to those ones which have less of an arch and took up less room. I have yet to hoop in them tho but they feel pretty good

My issue is that because of the declined shape of both drop-in midsoles, my foot naturally wants to slide toward the toe box, and my toes begin to jam after some use. So far, the only solution has been to lock down the laces tightly and do a runner's knot. I have tried to break them in painfully, but I haven't had much luck so far.

Getting a takedown version of a Kobe 5 as a signature... like you said, they're pretty much out of ideas. It's a beautiful shoe, and I'm older so I'm nostalgic for this look, but they're falling so far behind Adidas and Way of Wade, imo. They need to let go of Air (foams are better and more consistent) and figure out something. Tatum TPU cage was bad, Zion been all over the map (and rubber compound not good), etc. I just feel they're putting out products that aren't really playable
