Sabu transcended pro wrestling without ever selling out . Seeing him live is an event in and of itself ! Long Live Sabu !

Totally believe the head piece bit!! During an Australia show, Sabu threw off his head piece on his way to the ring, a guy near us reached though the rails and tried to snatch it from the floor. Sabu turned round and ran back with his right fist prepped. The guy hands-up shat himself saying sorry, I'm so sorry!! Sabu sternly said, you fkn better be sorry!!

That man set out to make his Uncle proud and in that respect, I believe he has. James, you're quickly earning your place in the annals of Professional Wrestling. Congratulations!

Sabu was doing an autograph signing in Mesa, AZ. I just happened to be newer the place that was holding it qith my kids. Went in, not knowing Sabu was there. My son noticed that they had wrestling on the TV. I told him that I had seen that match many times. It was Sandman vs Sabu Stairway to Hell. As I was saying this, I turned around and saw Sabu at a table. I was able to make him laugh as I informed him that I had been watching him since I was in middle school.

I never get over how well spoken Sabu is despite his background and legacy... definitely a legend more deserving than the respect he gets these days

James, is the Shane Douglas podcast over, and you're replacing it with the Stevie Richards Show? Just curious
@ducklife4206 ай бұрын
shane is probably busey and they will get back together
@jasonbink52766 ай бұрын
James explained there were scheduling conflicts with Shane and he was losing money producing it. Stevie's show isn't a "replacement" but should be consistent and they are promising high quality.

people who say "flair didn't put people over" are uneducated in wrestling history. period. being a 16 time former champion means he lost at least sixteen times. but, in case anyone needs educated, you can find records of Flair's wrestling schedule. in the NWA he would lose dam near every single night by DQ so his opponent wouldn't have a pinfall loss on their record. Flair's losses FAR outweigh his wins. he might get a win on pay per view..then lose by dq to the same person the next thirty days. rinse and repeat.
@NoneofYabiz-rx3zi6 ай бұрын
A heel losing by dq is basically a win. That's what heels are supposed to do if they can't win by cheating.
@jpmiller79226 ай бұрын
Losing a match is not putting someone over. See Rush vs Jack Perry in AEW. On the opposite side, you can puts over someone you without losing, see Bret vs Austin I Quit match or Taker vs Jeff Hardy in WWF.

He acts like it's totally awesome to be partying and acting like he's a high schooler who's trying hard to be 'cool'. At his age he STILL hasn't learned that living that lifestyle isn't cool at all, and that it's wrong. He doesn't seem to realize how cringeworthy it is to hear him talk like that stuff is cool. He thinks he's being "The Nature Boy", when he's really being a pathetic old man that was a terrible, absent father, who has no real friends, who has an embarrassing amount of ex wives, who is a serious alcoholic, and who is THAT old and still thinks getting drunk is 'cool'. I have no idea why anyone looks at all that and still thinks 75 year old Richard Fliehr is somebody that they should be a fan of. I mean, how can anyone even listen to him talk these days? It's so cringeworthy.
