TODAY'S RECIPE IS Sabudana Kheer Recipe | Sago Payasam Recipe | Yummy
INGREDIENTS:
Tapioca/ sabudana 1/4 cup
Water 1/2 cup
Soak for 30 mins & washed well
Milk 3 cup
Soaked tapioca/sabudana
Bring it to a boil
Cardamom powder 1/4 cup
Pinch of Saffron
Chopped nuts 2 tbsp
Stir occasionally
Cook until transparent the tapioca/sabudana
Sugar 1/4 cup
Cook for 8-10 mins
Thick consistency
NOTE: 1 CUP = 250 ML

One shouldn’t fry the nuts in ghee before using them in kheer?

Not necessarily. If you do, its good. If don't, its still good bcz they get cooked along the milk. You necessarily fry nuts while garnishing or any other dessert which doesn't require cooking a lot. 😊
