Governor Tim walz interview is still Blocked Behind Early access charges. We have elections 20 days away, and these guys that made millions in january 100 millions, are hiding this timely interview.. bc so desperatly they need to make more money, and bc democracy and elections is of no consequence to them. Wow. What a dissapointment. Greedy and hungry.

I love Will arnett and he is the funniest. Still I am greatly dissapointed that these 3 guys that i love to listen to, can come off so greedy. They just made 100 million by moving from Amazon to Sirius xm, but I see that they are hiding Governor Tim Walz interview for 3rd day now Behind Early Access. Is is that these guys really need to come off that greedy? Like they did not make enough money, like they do not care about Democracy or out elections? Like they really need so desperately to hide a very timely important interview behind EARLY ACCESS CHARGES to made addittional money, bc they really need it. They do not have enough. And our elections and democracy means nothing to them.

But you do understand it mostly is? Overwhelmingly. A vile lying sewer of lies and whining self-pity. And lies.
@bstring77732 ай бұрын
He did say people are being polarized against each other, so that goes hand in hand. But the matter of the fact is that right wing media has a whole lot more misinformation, thats just the way it is. Normal news is already misinfo, and the right wing media misinfos on top of that. Doesnt really help anyone, it just justifies the inherent opposing leanings of conservative types. When threats start flying around from these sources and they're aimed at various different groups from the other side, thats unacceptable. The call out on misinformation is not an invitation for discussion to justify it, it's an invitation to stop and get a grip before it goes too far; because it does statistically happen more often on the right.
@LiliarthanАй бұрын
It’s not, but one side not only owns one of the handful of social media platforms and actively uses it to spread misinformation for the purpose of supporting their preferred candidate, Chairman Orange, they’ve also just broken election laws by bribing people to register and vote (implied voting for Trump, since you have to attend a Trump rally to get your cartoon cheque). Scale matters.

@LiliarthanАй бұрын
Don’t be so sure. He’s also remembered for being a billionaire snob that threatens to fire his employees for putting public health and the law above his profits and for wanting to unionise. He’s remembered for supporting the worst President the U.S. has ever had, Chairman Orange. He’s remembered for offering to buy Twitter on a whim, changing his mind and then being forced to complete the purchase for legal reasons, thennnn turning it into a right-winged propaganda machine when he ordered his software engineers to change the algorithm to promote his batshit insane misinformation tweets to force it down its users’ throats - the very thing he used to criticise Twitter for before he bought it. The innovations that made him rich and famous were made by other people. Other people who were too humble and risk adverse to take it in the direction that he took it. Does he deserve recognition for his ruthless business strategies? Sure. But should we not balance it with the damage that he’s done, potentially even to American democracy, because he is like a lot of successful CEOs - a psychopathic zealot that thinks the sun shines out of his ass and everyone else’s wellbeing is a reasonable price to pay in order to realise *his vision* of what the world should look like. Does his view of the world in terms of reducing our reliance on fossil fuels and further space exploration align with a lot of other people’s, a lot of decent people’s visions? Yes. But the intention matters because it defines the minutiae on *how* these visions will be realised, and most of us are not willing to pay the price that he’s willing to charge the rest of the world. He’s not the smartest person in these spaces, far from it, he’s just one of the most arrogant and ruthless. So I’d recommend taking a hard look at this guy and see exactly what it is that you’re idolising. Context matters.

Damnit should’ve kept politics out of this 🫠
@Charliedanielsband772 ай бұрын
So, you all stated that you didn’t want your podcast to become “political” while interviewing Sacha Baron Cohen, a political activist, because your listeners have already been exposed to too much of [the nonsense of political persuasion]. You’ve described your next guest as “the incredible Tim Walz”. Are you arrogant or ignorant? I know it means nothing to you, but I am unsubscribing. I don’t look to my entertainment sources to be a source of political information or wisdom of any kind for that matter.
@LiliarthanАй бұрын
It’s their podcast that you are consuming for free, so nah it really doesn’t matter that you’re unsubscribing. Coz god forbid these three men discuss topics that are close to their hearts and most relevant to them now.
@Charliedanielsband77Ай бұрын
@ No, not consuming for free, but that’s not the point I’m making. I actually think we agree more than disagree. I think someone or a group of people should be able to say what they want on their podcast. My only objection is that they made it very clear when they interviewed Sasha Baron Cohen that they did not want their podcast to be political. They also stated that everyone is already so bombarded with politics these days that they did not want to be part of it. Then their next guest is a politician. This is not a right versus left or a Republican versus Democrat argument. I’m simply speaking of a source of entertainment for me where I enjoyed being entertained by their anecdotes of being in the entertainment industry and being exposed to other entertainers that were their friends. If it’s no longer that, then I absolutely can unsubscribe and move onto other podcasts. It may not matter that I individually unsubscribed, and there might not be another person on the planet who feels the same as me and that’s OK , but there may others and it could affect their bottom line, i.e. their advertising revenue. I refuse to listen to any person who bills themselves as an entertainer, whether it’s Joe Rogan or Ellen DeGeneres just to be bombarded with their opinions. My beliefs are not based upon what celebrities/entertainers (to include everyone from professional athletes to street performers) believe.
