i purchase rear shocks for my honda, #311-801. mine say made in Japan. not installed yet. but usually made in Japan is not a bad thing.

SACKS is basic OEM quality shocks on VW... Brillstein's are higher quality and an upgrade. SACKS are fine dampers, but my VW TDI Sacks were tired at 90K miles. The Brillstein's made the car handle better, less body roll.

gmcjetpilot Yeah I agree that bilstein maleš car handle better but they are more expensive and also more performance oriented (harder)

Everydays Buisness that is true, the cost more. but if you're a bargain hunter like me I found a complete set of struts to shocks for 250 bucks free shipping no tax which was well over $100 to $150 cheaper but for most places I found.

gmcjetpilot Yeah that's true but my car is 4 Motion ( all wheel drive) and just the last struts are 30-40% more expensive than front ones for the SACHS for the Bilstein is even more

Are you sure these were the Super Touring? They usually come with a blue sticker. I had these white sticker in the rear and they were low quality.

Royale with cheese eyes I'm 100% shure they are Super Touring the sticker on these were kind of blueish but the camera didn't picked up the colours well

I just bought a pair of Super Tourings. The other one has a blue sticker and the "Super Touring" logo, the other one has a white sticker without the logo. But all numbers match ... so, I think the stickers differ depending on when they were made.

KYB are made in Ukraine...the rest are made in China. Sachs are factory shocks for VW and BMW

@@BenDover-lx1gh kyb has European factory is in Ukraine. Transport is 8 times cheaper and factory workers earn few times less than in Japan. It makes huge profit for kyb. Money is a God in modern capitalistic world.

@@BenDover-lx1gh I used both Sachs ( SuperTouring, Sachs Advantage) and KYB two models and I prefered Sachs. Softer better in my aplications. Check video. „ Night drive in creepy forest”
