As a Laker fan, I’m really can’t understand why they fired Mike Brown. He is a great coach in fact, he is a one time coach with the Lakers and he is the reason why the Kings return to the playoffs for the first time in 16 years and then he won Coach of the Year. I tell you what, for those in the Kings’ front office who fired him, shame on you on what happened to a great coach like Mike Brown.

Mike deserved so much more. The King's problems weren't caused by him. Getting Demar.. especially the type of statistical player he is doesn't fit with the Kings at all. The Lakers (my team) finally got better and is much harder to beat now. There are other factors to but coaching was the least of them.

I could be wrong but I felt like adding Derozan messes with the growth of Fox and Murray. Sabonis as well. You have a guy like Monk who can get hot and light it up. Didn’t really need an iso scorer in my opinion. I guess maybe their view is in the playoffs when the game slows down they can give it to Derozan. I just felt like at this stage in his career Derozan should be on a veteran team. I actually thought the Lakers was a better fit with Lebron close to retirement.

I saw a video saying adding deebo takes away a lot of the spacing on the team because he doesnt shoot 3s and that actually messes with Huerter and Murray because they need space to shoot 3s at the wing that is why their percentages are down this year

GM signs DeRozen, who is basically Fox in 5-10 years. It doesn't fit, especially since Kings' needs are at the 3-5 positions. Kings' defense falters because they play small with no rim/paint protection and can't get rebounds late in games. Latest acquisition isn't a fit, so GM fires the only successful coach in decades to save face/job. Such a classless act, and to not even have the decency to inform the coach face-to-face. Weak. Yeah, so like Monty Williams, he will get paid even though he got fired. Firing Mike Brown is one of the most stupid moves that the Kings did for sure in their franchise history. Instead of firing Coach Brown, they should trade other non defensive starters for defensive players that also want to be traded. There are players like Cam Johnson, Anderson, etc.

Mike Brown is the coach and the kings record sucks, he has blown four games in the fourth quarter. The coach job is to prepare this team for teams night in and night out. Mile Brown selecting the wrong players got him fired. He chose certain players to fulfill that roster, people are blind. If your players aren’t responding to the coaching, you have to fire the coach. Kings’ management are known for bad decisions. Imagine if they had kept Haliburton and traded Fox for Sabonis. Haliburton has proven to be the better player. Sure, hindsight is 20/20, but GMs get paid a lot of money to evaluate talent and make the RIGHT moves. Since McNair traded away a stellar player like Haliburton, he should pay the consequence for that decision when it is later proven to have been the wrong move to keep Fox over Haliburton.
