Honestly, not really. I'm a computer programmer, and really all you need is a translation and rotation matrix, then tween in between current position and next position. It sounds complicated, but if you know how to do it it really isnt that hard. What I want to see is them simulate fluid dynamics with drones. Now that would be incredible.

Also, for 3D you'd need really lots of drones, so that's not really going to happen. By the way, there are first cubes with actual 3D vision made with a lot of light effects (lasers I think). This would allow me to spend 100% of my time at home inside VR, and then when I go out I'll just use AR glasses. Add another 5 years onto that and they'd just be the same device so I could toggle between them. I mean today you already have people sleeping in VR, having birthday parties in VR, going clubbing, drinking, etc. By 2025, I will do most of my socialization in VR, most of my movie watching, TV watching, playing games, using my PC, and doing work in VR.

Exactly they've been doing light shows like this at museums or whatever at science museums for decades. This is not fireworks and I'm sorry it's lovely but it does not give the same feel,effect or enjoyment of fireworks.
