I didn't know they made measuring tape tape. Now I know .....THANK YOU. Having tape on fence and one on work reminds me of the old slide rules. You can get some very precise measurements that way. BEST VIDEO IN KZbin!

I knew about permanent measuring tape tape. But I did not know about the "disposable" kind. Will have to pick some up.

A lot. I cut out most of them. The dog holes made it quite a challenge.

In the US you can find it in stores or online. Australia sounds more primitive than I imagined it to be.

I went to several stores...nobody had that tape. So I got some on eBay. I got the cheap kind ... metric. Only a buck twenty a roll.

You said that tape was off by a tiny amount in 3 ft. Is that due to stretch? I'll lay odds that it is. Check a 6-inch piece, if you haven't done so. What's the verdict?

alex tworkowski Yep I figured stretch as well, but best I can tell it’s not stretching. Maybe when peeled off the roll?
