Not everything is a sacrifice. Inevitably, when you combine the lives of 2 people, though, there will be a point where their views simply don't agree. You could consider "sacrifice" similar to "being the bigger person" out of love. Example: When my husband got a job across the country, I was willing to leave my job and comforts of my hometown to support him - I sacrificed something to show my loyalty and love to him. It would be worse if we had chosen to live in different states.
