I saw men working in that forest. I pray they will take care of Kaka and help her get through with this separation anxiety. Sooooooo hard for me to handle, and I know soooo hard for Kaka. Poor Kaka. If only Mr Ngoc and the team will be allowed to camp for a night then Kaka would be happy to sleep with his Dad. 😢

My guess is Ngoc (no knowingly) bought Kaka illegally, and because Kaka Family has sooooo many followers and have been videoing Baby Kaka growing up with Baby Diem. Kaka Family is famous for Monkey Kaka. So it was easy for the authorities to make an example of Kaka by confiscating her and returning her to the forest. They also took Kgocs other monkey Mit ( who was about 6 months old). Kaka & Mit were both returned to the forest but not together because they were different species. That all being said, my fear now is that the authorities will stop giving Kgoc permission to visit Kaka because Kaka reverts to her previous life as a pet. This whole situation is heartbreaking for The Kaka Family & ALL of their followers. Still heartbroken 💔 in NY, USA 🇺🇸

People who have followed this family for the past 3 years are glad to know that Kaka is healthy and thriving. This similarity has made them valuable models for the advancement of neurobiology and for advancing our understanding of how our brains work. Monkeys are not babies, out of sight, out of mind does not work with a monkey of Kaka’s age and she is feeling the pain, loss and separation regardless of whether he visits her or not. This is what forced separation looks like in a monkey of her age who has spent three years with people. This is just one of the many reasons why most reputable rehabilitation centers in the world will not even consider releasing a monkey in her position and find a sanctuary setting more suitable. So often, those in Kaka's unique situation never integrate, never join a group, never recover from the depression and trauma of separation. She desperately mourns the bond she had with the people she lived with and this is true whether he visits or not. This is what freedom feels like for a monkey who has lived and bonded with people for a significant period of time and yes, it is sad!

I was a little relieved to see that Kaka was more accepting of his leave this time. I think she will get more and more used to dad visiting and leaving.
