Do we really know that Kaka was happy living with humans or did she settle because she was taken away from her mother and forced to live with humans who trained her to live as humans do. There is no way of knowing if she was happy. As a baby, she was happy to get food and love. She was then trained for 3 years. The brain structure of a pigtail bears significant similarities to people's brains. This similarity has made them valuable models in the advancement of neurobiology and in advancing our understanding of how our brains function. Their usefulness to us has given us an in-depth understanding of their emotional and intellectual capabilities. In the few noted cases where an infant has been raised by monkeys, those few children bonded with the monkeys who raised them and had a tremendous amount of difficulty adjusting to living with and like people when they returned to civilization and the same is known to be true in reverse. The strong, profound emotional and psychological bond between Ngoc and Kaka is undeniable and while we can agree that all animals from nature are best left to live in nature, we are way past that now. Kaka has no memory of the family she was born with, but she definitely remembers and will always remember the family she was raised with. Were those children who were raised by monkeys happy, based on the outcome of in most of the cases they were happier than they were when they were forced back into living with and as people. Was Kaka happy? She can't tell us, but everything we know tells us she sure isn't happy now. This is what forced separation looks like in a monkey her age who has spent three years with people. This is just one of the many reasons why most reputable rehabilitation centers in the world won't even consider releasing a monkey in her position and find a sanctuary is more suitable. Very often those in Kaka's unique situation, never integrate, never join a group, never recover from the depression and trauma of separation. She is desperately longing for and will continue to long for the bond she had with her "group" and nothing short of having her own child will ease that longing, but even still the connection will remain.

@@anthonypang2241- those people bought monkeys from a legal sale Farm with the proper paperwork. My guess is Ngoc (no knowingly) bought Kaka illegally, and because Kaka Family has sooooo many followers and have been videoing Baby Kaka growing up with Baby Diem. Kaka Family is famous for Monkey Kaka. So it was easy for the authorities to make an example of Kaka by confiscating her and returning her to the forest. They also took Kgocs other monkey Mit ( who was about 6 months old). Kaka & Mit were both returned to the forest but not together because they were different species. That all being said, my fear now is that the authorities will stop giving Kgoc permission to visit Kaka because Kaka reverts to her previous life as a pet. This whole situation is heartbreaking for The Kaka Family & ALL of their followers. Still heartbroken 💔 in NY, USA 🇺🇸

@@anthonypang2241the activists sent Social Blade financial records to the government showing what he was making in income. Vietnam and USA had an agreement in 1988 that money received had to be declared and it wasn’t. He had to release the monkeys and still has to pay the fines.
