I've already commented in the forums but want to add a little more here: those who condemn you for having to delay do not understand what it takes to develop such complex aircraft for flightsim and/or lack compassion in general. I see there is much more support than lack of support so that is what I expect from the flightsim community. Your E175/195 was one of the first X-Plane 11 addons I purchased back in 2017 when I first started and the ERJ Family took your development to a whole new level. Anything that good - or even better - is worth waiting for and, honestly, anyone unable or not willing to see that isn't worthy of a nod of attention. I assure you this: when the E-Jets release it will be a Day One purchase for me - the entire family and not just a single aircraft. Happy 2023 to you and everyone on the team!

The new E- Jets will definitely not be priced similarly as they will be in a totally different league, so it depends on what kind of product you're looking for. But keep in mind the old E-Jets wont work in XP12. I'd wait, in fact I think I will stop selling the old E-Jets very soon

The EJets are my favorite regional airliner... I purchased the 2.5 version thinking they would be compatible with XPlane12 (my mistake). Are there plans to patch this product while we wait for the new EJets Family product to be released? - I uninstalled XP11 to save disk space.

Hey Steve, unfortunately the older E-Jets won't be compatible with XP12. It wouldn't be a case of "patching", it would be a case of having to drop everything else we're doing and spend a good 2 months trying to make them somewhat functional in XP12. Instead, we will focus all that time on finishing the E-Jets Family so that we can provide the E-Jets that everyone is truly waiting for. I hope you'll understand! I'm sorry that you got the v2.5 version though :/ But you will get a discount towards buying the full family as an owner of the older version.

I skipped X-Plane v11. Though the old version meant for X-Plane v11 has that FMS runtime error with adding SID/STAR in v12, it's still a very impressive model. The preview of this new even more accurate version for X-Plane v12 looks fantastic. No worries about release date. When you feel it's ready for primetime, we're ready to purchase.

Hi Andrew! I'm glad you're interested in that!! Most of our plugins are developed in C++, and some are developed using SASL, which is a version of LUA, but you could use other languages as well. I am not a code developer so I couldn't tell you any advantages or disadvantages, but google will be your best friend here!

At least now I can stop looking every day and postpone my daily ritual until 1-1-2023 : -) FWIW I am flying the E175 v2.4 in X-Plane 12 albeit without a functional auto-throttle but at least I do get enjoy the regional hops I love so dearly. Will there still be updates for XP11? As has happened many times before, developers promise an update for XP-x, delays spill into the release of XP-x+1, and then the developer uses this as an excuse to abandon the promised XP-x updates.

The first few initial updates will still be X-Plane 11 compatible, however after a certain point when the XP11 version is stable, we will have to stop developing for X-Plane 11, and development will continue only on the X-Plane 12 version.
