it's crazy when you have to watch everything and everyone in your life fade away.

Transplant ? Np,not worth it. To make a deal to harvest ? Yes, that is if your buddies would do it too & take them to sell them for their own time & effort. Better than seeing it go to waste. Maybe even a land lease deal to add to yours. People needs the bluesberries. Ty for taking us along

This country is screwing itself right into the ground. Manufacturing to food production we used to be the leader and now we’re dependent on the rest of the world (most of which hates us) and I just don’t understand…it’s has to be more than the all mighty dollar! 😢 Keep fighting Bert, don’t let the bastards win! 😠 God bless 🙏🏼🇺🇸🇮🇱

10:00 It's nothing new Bert, it has been going on for the last 40 to 50 years now. Actually I would say it started after WWII where the world - mostly Europe - was screaming for food, and the small family farms couldn't keep up with the demand, they were not efficient enough, and the farms became industrialized. My grandparents had a small family farm, roughly 50 acres, and it was enough to keep the family of 5 alive and happy. They weren't rich but they weren't poor either, they did good for themselves, but that would not be possible in the world of today. We consumers have a large part of the blame, because we don't want to pay for quality food, we want it as cheap as possible, food that is pumped with all kinds of crap, sugar, glucose, trans fat and whatnot + a huge amount of additives that have nothing to do with food.

yeah, those bushes are loaded, it would have been a bumper crop harvest, you need the harvester to work the fields or allot of Mexicans. now all your berries will be imported.

the wild Blueberries that grow around my area are coming up fast, same with the strawberries and raspberries. It's gonna be another banner year for them with the warm days and cool nights and just the right amount of rain to sun ratio. If the deer don't eat them all I might get a couple of pies worth.

I know it sucks. Im glad to see its still a farm though. Where i live what once was a farm is now a sub division with a name like fox run or deer medows. Gone for good.
