I'm sure praying for you and your blueberry farm...it may not help right now but it sure can't hurt! Too many small farmers have gone! But if anyone can save your family's legacy...You can!

I never knew there more than one kind of blueberry or how much work went into berry farming til I stated watching you…thank you for the education. 🤓 How do you get more blueberry bushes, from cuttings or seed? 🤔 After the harvest maybe make a deal with your neighbor and run an electric fence around the bad field an let the goats eat the grass and trees out or would they damage the bushes too much? 🤔 The chicken idea sounds good too…work smarter not harder. 😎 If you need help, two words, undocumented migrants. 🤷🏻♂️ Your orange cat looks like it has more than five toes. 🐈 God bless and prayers for a bountiful harvest! 🙏🏼🇺🇸

Bushes are started from cuttings primarily... you can buy one two and three year plants.... but 3 years is pretty much guaranteed to survive... the goats will destroy everything... really the end game would be chicken tractors the size of each blueberry row and using each row to produce meet Birds

My body was paralyzed.... in an automobile accident and spent the latter part of his life completely fighting to move every day... you absolutely just cannot give up you have to get up everyday even if you only have one and get that one strong if you don't it's going to be an extremely hard Road when you do get one that man had a heart attack and 3 days later as soon as they let him out of the hospital he was sliding around on the ground working on a car... it's extremely difficult but you have to move

I remember a farmer near where I grew up. He had some kind of thing out in the fields that made a BOMB noise every 1/2 hour to scare the birds off. I wonder if you had some weather-proof Bluetooth speakers that had recordings of like M-80's blowing up to scare the birds. Or some scarecrows with LED's for eyes flashing. Haha!

Thanks for the update on the farming business. I wonder how big is the farm - 40, 50 acres? I can't go do work in my garden as I do not have a garden anymore! lol But I miss it tho, especially my kitchen garden. There's something about growing your own vegetables and fruit that's very satisfying, and you know it hasn't been sprayed with a lot of poisonous s***! lol

That's a heck of a lot of work on that field in back. It's amazing how old some of those patches are. How old can those bushes live? You need more chickens out there on patrol. LoL

If you get some grouse chics in spring you raise them until they have feathers and then let them go they are tic eating machines. Some might survive the winter and reproduce. Could hunt them also.

Love the update brother!! Looks like you’ve got more rain coming this upcoming week.. hopefully you can get a lot of that done before hand. I do have 2 questions @Burt .. 1- in your opinion.. is it cheaper to grow your tomatoes, potatoes etc.. or buy them? I hear it both ways. I’m considering a garden next year and truly trust your word.. and the 2nd question- Is scrap up or down right now? I’m the first to say I have zero clue about it.. but I’ve been saving all I can get for almost a year now.. it’s getting time to haul it off but I don’t want to take it unless it’s at least average or above.. I trust you word on that as well.. Lastly, looks like those cheap golf cart batteries are doing pretty good still?? Stay blessed up there brother!!

Scrap prices are pretty good.... I don't know I mean if you got a giant family or a lot of people that you can give the stuff away to it's worth growing before the amount of work if you're only worried about yourself it's not really worth it in my opinion unless you just want to say that you grew it yourself they definitely do taste better
@bladesofglorylawnmaintenan63544 ай бұрын
@@ScrapFarm good deal on the scrap.. we’re supposed to have several days of rain this week.. I will try and get this mess cleaned out.. and for the garden, it would just be for me and her for the most part.. and I DEFINITELY agree it tastes better.. I’m truly thinking hard about it.. the way things are going, we ALL may need to think hard about growing our own stuff. It’s only gonna get worse I’m afraid. I had 23+ years in law enforcement, plus 8 years army and I never imagined we’d be In the shape we’re in as a country. It’s so sad. But, we still got to roll with the punches no matter what. Thanks for your input brother. I greatly appreciate it!! Stay blessed!!
