The speed means more damage in fights, as faster speed means higher lance damacg. Maneuverability just means "I can move a long time in a relatively good speed", its the scout saddle. Its about traveling. Its the exploration saddle if you like.

Don’t like, would not call it exploration saddle. I’d call it long distance saddle because you care about getting to point A to point B the fastest... and you arnt looking to explore while you are sprinting long distance

They do have inventory, 10 slots. So saddle bags are already kind've a thing.

Just curious if anyone has noticed that attribute perks like momentum don't work when you are on your horse, which means taking them to run for supplies on an encumbrance build is useless as you will walk faster than the horse 🐴 If your over encumbered and jump on your horse... No fast movement... Ugh what's the point of taking a horse 😂

But you can move a few stacks on to the horse and maybe not be over encumbered anymore. Depends how many stacks you plan to load up on, I guess. If you're going for the massive supply run then go on foot.

Did they say anything about the saddles affecting stamina? I never caught that but it’s good to know. From my limited testing the scout saddles were for speed, the Calvary saddles were the best at tight turns and maneuverability, and the warhorse saddles were the best armor. I definitely noticed the speed increase on the scout, but haven’t done much fighting with the war, and did very little testing on the Calvary but didn’t notice a huge difference. Will definitely keep an eye on the stamina use going forward. Full disclosure, I have not used any of the basic saddles just the Aquilonian/Khitan/etc for each type. Edited to add: the basic light/medium/heavy are all war saddles so I think the difference should just be armor. I didn’t realize that the only scout and Calvary types were dlc. That seems to me they are skirting the line on “pay to win”, but I have all the dlc so I’m not going to cry about it.

Looks like it takes a sec for the horse to get up to any speed. Human looks fast at start but the horse then catches up, but human very slightly faster when horse is at full galap or trot and human at full sprint.

The horse has a blue stamina bar called endurance. Once the endurance bar is empty you will be dismounted from the horse. Endurance also works similar to health as it goes down when damaged.

If your talking being on encumbrance build and taking your horse... Using momentum attribute perk doesn't work you being overweight stops the horse from sprinting

The sprinting horse is just a little overpowered comparatively, as my understanding is that an average sprinting human can outrun an average sprinting horse from a standing start for about 10s due to differences in momentum. Of course, I'm not an expert and could be wrong.

well, some horses can come with a good growth on vit and agi, i think those are the best status to aim for, as it gives then more armor and more HP making then really tanky

@@divinefoo5555 Fastest way is to kill bosses with your friend. We did warmaker and every skeleton boss gives 1 level up. Kill the normal skeletons, they give also a bunch of xp to your horse if its fresh start from 0.

This games been dead on console for a while way to many exploits and cheats. Cool game yet completely broken if you play on a PvP server on console. Just say’n.

@electricDyNoMite Gamer I do agree that there are a couple exploits that are out of control. Per the last patch notes I think they fixed some of the worst ones (like the 2nd coming of the 50 all stat glitch) but since they are purposely vague with the wording we’ll have to wait and see. However, we just had some cheating trolls attack my server and they wiped quite a few tribes. It was pretty impossible to kill them in direct combat, and they stored all of their stolen loot in the undermesh so it couldn’t be recovered. It was a tough situation, and I reached out to Funcom and provided hard video evidence of their undermesh base (the other glitches they used were quite obvious to us but almost impossible to prove just via a video), and received a fairly prompt response from a community manager. Unfortunately, absolutely nothing was done by Funcom, so that was kind of a waste of time. Our base was pretty solid already, and since we weren’t the first one hit (luckily) we were able to make a few changes that kept them out of our base over a four day long siege. I think they finally gave up, it’s been a week or so, but my point is there are ways to stay legitimate and beat cheating scumbags. Unfortunately this was pre patch, and the new changes made our old base unsafe so we’ve had to move and adjust how we defend ourselves, so we’ll have to see what happens in the future.

LostInTim Since the latest update the grid are base is on crashes when we get raided or even when purge happens. Base won’t render it’s still there it just doesn’t render so you can’t open doors or anything. And eventually the game freezes and we can’t get back on for hours. It’s a real pain. When this happens I can log onto the server with an alt that not in are base area and visit are base. All you see are all are thrall locations suspended in air. First time this happened we thought the base was gone but the next day we logged in and the base was mostly fine accept for the damage the raiders caused. I don’t understand how they were unaffected because everyone in are base suffered game freeze and then failure to log back in to defend are base. This was a real drag, lucky are would be raiders where ill prepared as they used double jump builds to bypass are outer wall of anticlimb and vastly underestimated the thickness of are inner walls.

@electricDyNoMite Gamer I’ve actually been in the exact same situation with similar cheating trolls. What they are doing is placing down 1k wooden bowls (or something similar) near your base. Since the game renders placeables first, it renders things such as your carpets and thralls, but not the structure of your base. If you could find the junk on your alt accounts and blow it up it would stop the lag, but either way it disappears at server restart. Took us a couple of nights of the same to figure out what they were doing, and it was a major pain, but once we knew we just kept logging on till they would do it again to show them we weren’t giving up. Sorry it’s happening to you too, best I can tell you is hang on and they’ll get bored and move on eventually, and be proud that you have a good enough base design that even cheaters can’t take you down.
