I own a Saddleback briefcase very similar to this one - absolutely love it. I travel a lot (200 days per year) and get compliments frequently on the bag and the appearance. You can't go wrong with Saddleback.

I've got the large briefcase. It is everything Dave says it is. If someone gave a bad review, it's because it was a knock off. You could drag it behind a car with your laptop in it and the bag will keep all the parts in it till you stopped 3 states over! Saddleback bags are the best! You will only by it once!

Suzette Munson Hi Dave, I was going to buy 2 seperate bags from you guys last week but after seeing and hearing so many awful stories regarding your bags and the customer service it has sadly deterred me. I read somewhere that the ''Stainless steel hardware'' has nicks and pucks in it and your response was that's how it is.. also the leather bags most reviews seem to show really bad quality, I just find that the price you charge people are not refelected in your products.

Splootan If you're looking for a cookie cutter bag that'll still look perfect after 3 months, you've been looking in the wrong place. The bags imperfections are part of what make them so cool and what makes them age so well.

I really wish Saddleback would use veg tanned leather rather than chrome tanned. The leather does not wear like true saddle leather over time. Still great design but made for mass production.

Recommend you use the two other straps when traveling. It will distribute the weight across the bag and put less strain on the center strap, extending the wear and tear.

I look forward to the leather milk video. How often do you think i should apply it to my bag? Once a year? Every two years? Have you noticed the bag getting dryer between applications?

MyFireVideos my bag did seem a little dried out but it came back to life with the Leather Milk. There wasn't any cracking and I don't think it was damaged by not cleaning it more frequently. Other people are saying they clean and condition their bags every 6 months. There's another KZbinr who has a 5 year review of his Saddleback bag and he says he uses Leather Milk every 6 months and his bag looks great!

THis bag looks disgusting. Zero style. This company is 100% aimed at The American market who do not know any better. The quality of the leather is not the best. The hardware is not the best. The stitching is not the best. The French house Berluti is where my heart is.
