Same maps are edited with different enemies and many different secrets are included in the game. In this challenge, there is a ranking with about 30 levels, where you start as a recruit, and if you manage to beat the entire game without dying, you achive a Five-Stars General rank. Since the farthest I was able to reach was almost halfway through the third level, the best score I achieved was as a sergeant.

TARMA R; always the best when handling a shotgun, and if you're descent enough to keep the slugs, he gets double damage using them. ERI K; always the best when handling a laser gun, and if you're a heavy bomb user, her bombs are stronger than others. FIO G; always the best when handling a rocket launcher, and if the fact that most guns have a small amount of ammo bothers you, Fio is the one with the most ammo. (In some games she does more damage with all guns but without the ammo boost)

It's awful. It's kind of useful in some situations like when soldiers are taking cover behind objects but the game insists on giving it to you in the worst moments possible, like areas with enemies on higher ground or air units.
