The big reason was that it was never released as an official single and it wasn't on the album. I believe they wrote and completed it right after the album and it was so good that they added it to the tour set list and it's cult following like popularity kind of took off from there. But yes if it was on the album no doubt it would have been released and been alot more mainstream popular.

20 years ago she came in to my shop in Camden London and I "told her off" for making us wait for new music. She said they were in the studio putting their record together: 'Lovers Rock' 😍 I helped her carry boxes of wine to her car and off she went to the studio. She was breathtakingly beautiful and so lovely. Although she said she'd bring me loads of tapes and cds but never did 🤣 Roll on the new music due soon; literally can NOT wait ❤
