I really miss my morning routine of sitting with my coffee in the early morning sun and weeping over poetry haha. Hopefully when my baby is older I can resume it. ☕️ 🌅

I’ve never seen the Tarot of Japanese Poetry before, it is so beautiful.

Tarot of Japanese Poetry is stunningly beautiful, and it immediately brought my Christmas girlie in mind, who - for a reason completely unknown to us - loves everything Japanese, with fierce love.

Such a great tip about cleaning decks! I've only ever done it when I could see or feel something on the cards. Time to consider some spring cleaning - especially on those most used and loved decks. For edging errors or smudges I've always used rubbing alcohol to remove the felt.

That's a good idea. I will try that next time I edge a deck.

The Japanese Poetry deck is beautiful! I cannot imagine‘boiling’ one of my tarot decks! I will definitely check out that, but I would think I’d be a nervous wreck!

Emilia takes it so methodically, step by step. I love listening to her.

I really love the MP little white book but I just never could connect with the deck. I think it is the different styles of artwork that makes it feel like a collaborative deck. Tarot of the Sidhe is another one where I have kept the lwb but let the cards go. I don't let anyone shuffle my cards ever after someone who claimed to read tarot was very aggressive and bent the cards. I use my eye glasses cleaner and cloths for my decks that need cleaning.

Yes, it can be challenging with the different styles of art in the MP. I'm glad i did the deep dive as it cemented our relationship. Hmm, what is the main ingredient in eyeglass cleaner? Alcohol?
