I was born to a Hindu parents and never ate non-vegetarian food. Then I immigrated to USA and began eating meat. After eating meat for 15 years, I suffered a heart attack. Thank God I survived the heart attack. I quit eating meat and I became a vegetarian again, today I am 80 years old and free of any and all disease.

First of all respect to brother sadhguru. I am very sad that today's non Muslims are trying so hard to keep you away from Islam. Secondly nowhere does the quran says that if you eat flesh of an animal the qualities of the animal will enter you. If you eat a bad animal such as dogs or cats then your brain will be affected. I have experienced this cow shedding tears thing personally.... when my uncle died he was like some kms away from his native village in hospital in a city.. exactly at the moment of his death,my relatives have told the cow made sudden grief stricken sound and started crying ....this is what I have heard before I heard Sadhguru saying these things...I feel blessed to be born in family where vegetarianism is followed.... 🙏🙏 We are follower of Radha swami 🙏

Anyways, what does your list of nutrients even matter? I can make the case that our digestive tract is not a good shape or size for gathering those nutrients out of the meat, but if you don't feel the difference for yourself, then all of this discussion is *pointless*. I had all these goofball vegans try to convince me with arguments about our teeth, the suffering of the animals and so on. They just wasted their time and it did nothing to change my ways. When I started to get more involved in my own life and well-being, I was eventually led to the realization that it takes me days to digest meat and it is of no value for what I do. I have more than enough food and do not need to worry about starvation. I am not the leader of some primal militia and I am not a strongman. I am just a man who wants to be nimble, dynamic and vibrant. Meat simply does not support an elevated state of consciousness or any sort of gracious movements. Even for high-impact sporting, athletes will generally use beans, legumes, beets and maybe eggs to support their energy levels and muscles.

It is mentioned in Manu Smruti, the law book of Hindus, in chapter 5 verse 30 “The eater who eats the flesh of those to be eaten does nothing bad, even if he does it day after day, for God himself created some to be eaten and some to be eater.” c. Again next verse of Manu Smruti, that is, chapter 5 verse 31 says “Eating meat is right for the sacrifice, this is traditionally known as a rule of the gods.” d. Forget Zakir Naik, there is no scholar in the present day who has gone through or mastered the whole scriptures of Sanatana Dharma. Manu Smriti is a guide book , not a religious one, though many ignorant Hindus consider it as divine. The Vedas which is propogated now is the Christian Missionary edited ones, to demonise Hinduism and downplay all dharmic traditions. A person who follows Dharma cannot be controlled or manipulated by others. They have intuitive skils to seperate myth from facts. Zakir Naik is a good Scholar in Quran. His knowledge of Vedas is equivalent to that of an ignorant Hindu. Only one who has a higher consciousness level can differentiate between fake and real ones. One who are on higher consciousness levels are seekers and they don't blindly follow any scriptures or identify with any particular religion.

If cows were gods then why would they only be on earth and among livestock, someone is probably cutting a cow at the time of writing this but what was ur "god " doing before being slaughtered. Daily you will different breakfast.....and if human body can't produce some amino acids even after eating different frouts then how can a animal body produce it only eating grass..... Follow veg and yoga and meditation you will have wonderful experience......
