A year and half ago I took my shahada, Alhamdullilah but just before that, at least for 2 years, I was hooked on Sadhguru. His philosophy, his way of talking, his ideas, everything was very interesting, compelling and funny as well as he has a great sense of humor. How he puts a lot of emphasis on "not knowing" so there's always potential to seek more, instead of saying I believe in this or that, which he says is making a conclusion without knowing. How he always talks about being "uneducated", meaning not influenced by any religion or ideology. That if you want to be happy, you need to be happy from within, that you have to read the "user's manual" of your body to know how to use it (and that user's manual, according to him, is yoga, something from the Hindus, which is not something that a person who says he's not influenced by any religion or ideology would propose as a solution, in my opinion, but ok whatever). All of that was really cool and enticing. It made me feel free, until I realized that all he says is a recycled script. Slowly but surely, after the effects of his charming way of talking faded away, I realized that all he's about is a new kind of modern Hinduism but based around Shiva. He even built "The Adiyogi" Shiva bust, a 34-metre tall, 45-metre long and 25-metre wide steel bust of Shiva at Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu, India. I'm saying all this because, after awhile you realize that he's not genuine and that he surely is influenced by his Indian/Hindu background. All that he does is being slick about it by saying things like " we Indians dont believe in God, We have always known that God is a concept of our own minds and that's the reason why now in Hinduism they have 33 million Gods...". Things like this, just to appease to the new atheist youth, but in reality its all about Shiva and besides that, his way of life won't work if you're a bad person who wants to do bad things, because Sadhguru says there's no good and bad in the world, but that's just not true. There is good and bad and that bad person will just do his bad actions if no objective morality comes to him or her. You see, it's fun to think that way for awhile, but it fades away when you realize that meditation, yoga or his hindu chants or mantras that he teaches in his app, cannot teach you morality so you're more likely to just follow your desires again, which will put you back into the same cycle that we all want to not be trapped in. ( Desires-Regret-Depression) The reason Islam is superior, is because it does work, every rule makes sense, you can research history and you will see the Islamic civilizations how they flourished with justice, but besides all the better things it has over all other religions, putting that to the side, most importantly, the BEST thing is that it has credible and un-debunkable(which is not a word but you get it, lol) EVIDENCES for its truthfulness and that's the MAIN reason I accepted Islam. When I saw all the scientific miracles in the Quran, the way it has ring compositions in its texts, the way it has so many other mysteries and unexplainable, impossible things in it and of course, how it feels like it DIRECTLY talks to you, that's when I realized that nothing matters more than this, no other religion, no ideology, cult, way of life, science, magic, anything in life I would say, NOTHING MATTERS MORE AND IS AS INTERESTING AND WORTHY OF MY ATTENTION then ISLAM, because it CLAIMS itself as the truth, SHOWS itself as the truth and then it BACKS it up as well. Sadhguru is an agnostic. "I don't know," he says, because he had not experienced the truth. On the other hand, the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) came to tell us that he is the Messenger of the All-Knowing Creator of the Universe. And he came with plenty of evidence and proofs that he is telling the truth. The Prophet knows what is going to happen in the Hereafter, because he has been taught the facts by the All-Knowing God Himself. We can dwell in the Garden wherever we will.” So bounteous is the reward of workers. And you will see the angels surrounding the Throne from all round, glorifying the praises of their Lord. Rooms of Jannah: There will be rooms inJannahin such a way that every room will have seventy thousand (70,000) dinning sheets. On every dinning sheet 70,000 types of foods will be served. For their service 80,000 young boys will be moving around looking like beautiful scattered pearls. One bunch of dates will be equal to the length of 12 arms. The size of a date will be equal to the big pitcher. These will be whiter than milk, sweeter than honey and softer than butter and free Of seeds. The stem of these plants will be made up of gold and silver. There will also be gardens of grapes. The bunches of grapes will be very big. The size of a single grape will be equal to a big pitcher. The Dresses of Jannah: The dress ofJannahwill be very beautiful. One will wear 70 dresses at a time. These will be very fine, delicate, weightless, having different colors. These dresses will be so fine that the body even the heart will be visible. And the waves of love in the hearts will also be visible. These dresses will never become old, never be dirty and will never tear. There will be four canals in every Jannah: 1 Water 2. Milk 3. Honey 4. Sharabun Tahoora ( pure wine ) There will also be three fountains in Jannah: 1. Kafoor 2. Zanjabeel 3. Tasneem Evidence from the Quran and Sunnah The Prophet Muhammad peace be upon him said:Allah has said: I have prepared for My righteous servants what no eye has seen, what no ear has heard, and what no heart has conceived(Tirmidhi). The Qurʾān also statesNo person knows what is kept hidden for them of delights of the eye as a reward for what they used to do (Qurʾān 32:17). And if you looked around, you would see ˹indescribable˺ bliss and a vast kingdom (Qurʾān 76:20). The Prophet peace be upon him was asked about the buildings of paradise and he said:Bricks of gold and silver, and mortar of fragrant musk, pebbles of pearl and sapphire, and soil of saffron. Whoever enters it is filled with joy and will never feel miserable; he will live there forever and never die; their clothes will never wear out and their youth will never fade.(Tirmidhi). There will be circulated among them a cup [of wine] from a flowing spring. White and delicious to the drinkers. No bad effect is there in it, nor from it will they be intoxicated (Qurʾān 37: 45-47). Crystal-white, delicious to those who drink (thereof), free from intoxication, nor will they suffer intoxication therefrom (Qurʾān 37:46-47) "They will recline (with ease) on Thrones (of dignity) arranged in ranks..." (52:20). "They and their associates will be in groves of (cool) shade, reclining on Thrones (of dignity). Every fruit (enjoyment) will be there for them; they shall have whatever they call for" (36:56-57) "... Never will I suffer to be lost the work of any of you, be he male or female. You are members, one of another..." (3:195). "Gardens of perpetual bliss: They shall enter there, as well as the righteous among their fathers, their spouses, and their offspring. Angels shall enter to them from every gate (with the salutation): 'Peace be with you because you persevered in patience! Now how excellent is the final home!'" (13:23-24) "And whoever obeys God and the Messenger-those will be with the ones upon whom God has bestowed favor-of the prophets, the steadfast affirmers of truth, the martyrs and the righteous. And excellent are those as companions!" (Quran 4:69).
