I think in the last story you mentioned ramkrishna having unhealthy attachment with godess kali was problem with base chakra i.e. insecurities rather than third eye chakra

third eye or trikuti is power point isnt it air element or vishudhi is the wisdom sheath, krishna told arjuna to meditate on trikuti when there is war prevailed in there because arjun need power trikuti is power point, air element is not power point if you awaken air element you will have clarity,wisdom,right thinking,thinks like that but for meditating on air element certain level of purity is required its hard for an impure minded person to meditate on air element because it start creating illusions
