What is meant by being human? Are we not humans already in which sense he is talking
@Internet-DumpsterАй бұрын
@@Papa_Electron1897 From my perspective, I’ve always thought that humans underestimate their existence compared to the universe. But I think that’s because we measure value in terms of power rather than probability or quality of abstraction. For example, an asteroid, like us, is also a consequential product of the Big Bang. Humans are fragile in comparison and could be destroyed by an asteroid. However, the asteroid is just that-nothing more. Meanwhile, human existence, though more fragile and fleeting, is infinitely more abstract, and we too are a product of the universe. An analogy could be a rock and a cellphone. The rock can break the cellphone, but the cellphone holds far more value. Considering how extremely specific the conditions have to be (which our planet fulfills) for human existence, I think it’s a pretty “super” experience, to be honest.

This interview reflects the overall difference in approach between Western vs Eastern traditions in response to "miraculous" feats. Western response: "Either it's divine or its false!" Eastern response: "Ok, can we all learn how to do that?" I say "traditions", because in the modern world, with all the cultural inter-mingling, we can't really define someone's attitude just according to "Western vs Eastern" anymore.
@Nyzrael4 ай бұрын
Eastern is Internal, Western is External, neither is more correct than the other inherently; other than each individual naturally aligning with a pole based on environment and culture. All paths lead to the same nexus, walk that which calls to one the most. IMO, these are just the training wheels one uses before learning to 'fly'; when one moves to using one's own path, curated throughout life's experiences.

It’s barely even western, considering how Europe was shaped by Abrahamic ideation and the belief in unconquerable sin that can only be purged by groveling before the Creator and asking for forgiveness for being created. Yes, being human is super. If you believe in reincarnation (which I do to some extent), being human is amazing! Can you imagine being an animal, you die, and are reborn as a human? We always think about being human and reborn as an animal and how miserable we may be, or in some cases more free as an animal. But I personally believe, that existence is similar to a school. You graduate up when you do well, and you get held back or even go back a grade if you don't do well. Christianity even has many parallels in this understanding as well. Regardless of the background, I love hearing about all of this spirituality from different cultures. We all have something to learn from one another.

Joe Rogan is a monkey. If you think him asking questions still tied to his subconscious societal thoughts is trying to "understand," then you don't even know what you're talking about. You can see it in his face that he thinks the man is talking looney. That's not trying to understand.

We all deserve our own understanding of what is. For me, seeking can only be my path. So far, what my perceptions of the belief systems put forward leave me feeling somewhat compromised in my true heart. Then, in the seeking it seems the acceptance of just being is certainly enough. For this, I have immense gratitude. I feel blessed to be have been born in such an expansive period. Since 1960, it has been a wonderful wonderful experience.

About 7 years ago I met a woman who called herself Shiva. She told me that i am an old soul that could reincarnate into either gender. She told me intimate things about myself that not even my mother or husband could have known. She had me in tears, feeling as if i was speaking to someone who could truly understand me through all my emotional walls ive built. It was maybe a 15 minute conversation then she was gone. Still the most fascinating person ive ever met.

Misinterpreted and mistranslated, also some of the Bible is edited, not all of it is included and some of it may be entirely fabricated. We can't possibly ever know the full message.
@McCarthy1776Ай бұрын
But yeah the core of Jesus' moral teachings certainly seem to align almost perfectly with eastern philosophy, especially Buddhism. Jesus in the desert and Siddhartha meditating under a tree are almost the same exact story. Fasting for a long time, being tempted by a demonic spirit, having a transcendence of consciousness etc.
@McCarthy1776Ай бұрын
But then it grows out of Judaism which is middle eastern Semitic with mesopotamian influences, and the eastern philosophies/religions have Aryan roots, Hinduism is Aryan but so are the greco-roman religion, and the norse religion. And Christianity culturally has a lot of both germanic and greco Roman influence. Christianity almost seems to be where the semitic/middle eastern tree of religions and the Aryan tree of religions meet, ironically in Rome where the cultures and religions of the known world met, and now it's the religion of the empire that colonized the world and the country that contains immigrants of all nations, races and religions. Could be a coincidence but to me everything seems to be connecting and coming towards the center. The good and the bad sides of mankind and it's religions and philosophies. Unfortunately most of the wisdom has been filtered out and now replaced with hedonism and nihilism or on the other side a watered and dumbed down shell of the old religions and philosophies.

I experienced something like an 'information download' once. like a week long epiphany. epiphanies like dominoes. It was a formative experience. I feel more like 'me' now and have no way to explain it within the context of my heritage. I think more people need to feel it. It was all consuming. at times my head hurt from thinking so much, but I kept going. I hallucinated two lessons, one each from two teachers. It was incompatible with my secular background and so useful and informative that I have a very hard time ruling the experiences out as food poisoning or something. The two old men didn't look western. They seemed indian, arabic, or european.Their clothes were distinctly eastern. I'm not worldly. The men weren't where I was. one was in a yurtlike tent in a canyon, the older of the two was speaking in front of a group of what context indicated may have been his grandchildren, and I observed a sort of sermon from him as if I was one of them. The man in the canyon was enthusiastic with colorful clothes and was alone. He talked at extreme length about technology and 'magic' of the misdirection kind. Mostly revolving around the value and societal importance/uncommon uses and potential uses. So many potential uses and sources of so many textiles for such a long time, and very pragmatic and novel ways to survive in the environment alone. It all was culminating in a drive or compulsion to go out alone into the wilderness and cut certain ties. I didn't feel like I was ready, and the epiphanies and lessons stopped happening. I was given a framework to study on. It was like taking a college course in days and being forced to retain all of it, to the point it was causing me physical pain. People around me had insane moods wings if Iwas having an 'episode' and people would walk up to me on the street and confront me on the subjects of my imprintation. The old ne was 'Grandfather' to me and the other intoduced himself as a 'wandering knot'. He called himself shaytan. Etymologically, I know how that sounds. I thought of him as a teacher, but the word he had for teacher meant blanket to him. A lot of his words had many meanings. The language seemed more contextual or circumstantial than english. The old one wanted to show that the truth is accommodating and has layers, where the colorful smart man cared mastering reality for his/'my' benefit. It was out of left field. It happened at the year I always had a hunch I might die, but it was more of an intellectual and spiritual pupation. I'm both more me than ever and significantly affected. I went from feeling very little and having few desires or interests to loving life and myself and wanting things, Knowing what I want. Enlightenment is one of the only words that made sense to encapsulate it. I feel uninhibited now. I was possessed in the catholic lense by a man who saw his land, language, family, and love. He saw why he was back, and to him it made sense, but the regret he felt, the loss. It was confusing

Shiva has never been on the Earth, this is no possible, because Shiva which includes Shakti, because you cannot have one without the other, Are the Earth,. The only way Shiva Shakti is on the Earth is when someone on the Earth has assended through the Chakras to the Shiva Shakti point. And Shiva Shakti have there form at that point,. When they become formless, at a higher point, they become PURUSHA, PRAKRITI, and then PURUSHA, who is in the image of Supreme, which is non Dual, only one.

When you decide to build a house, you explain your plan to an engineer, engineer makes a blue print and allot the work amongst different departments, masons, painters, tile people, carpenter, electrician, plumber. Once the house is built it's you who dwell there right? Who do you think asked to build a planet worthy of a smart life like Human? Aham brahmasmi, translation "I am the creator" Shiva and Shakti did manifest as humans at some point is what I understand from certain scripts.
@tonymarriott84804 ай бұрын
@@Chauhan_Arun87 Shiva and Shakti are not the supreme being, they take up there position in the cosmic evolution, the same as everything else, and that position was before time and space, and throughout time and space in the form of consciousness and energy, So they are here all the time in the eternal moment, So what would be the purpose of incarnation, them old stories may have a different meaning, It is common knowledge that back then they used to make stories up, about living entities, when they had nothing to do with the living,, Jesus and deciples were a typical example, of stories depicting Astro theology, of the Sun and twelve signs of the zodiac, But to be honest I have been there sitting on the right thigh of Shiva and at the same time know it to be myself, and still sit there, and from that point, it does not appear that it would want to incarnate or could if it did want to, and certainly not by loosing its position there, Like everything else has done to incarnate here.

To distinguish 3 guans, cosmic allegories were created eg Brahma + Saraswathi (Rajas guna or Manifestation of the universe ), Vishnu + Lakshmi (Satvik guna or sustains universe) and Shiva + Shakhti (Tamas guna or concealment of the universe).
